Smittybilt XRC vs AEV rear bumpers

The AEV tire carrier only opens with the tail gate, not independent. However, I do feel it is the better options.

2010 JK won't start on first try

It seems that it was bad fuel. I've never had a fuel issue that Seafoam couldn't take care of but this time it didn't. A few nights ago I drove it entell the low fuel light came on then filled it from a different station and has run fine ever since. Thanks for everyones help!

2010 JK won't start on first try

From what I can find it appears fuel pressure should be around 58 PSI. Unfortunately I can not find a fuel pressure tester with the correct fitting. I've tried the Evertough and even a Snapon master kit. I have a pretty good feeling it is the fuel pump the question is if it is under warranty. I...

2010 JK won't start on first try

JKs don't have fuel filter. At least not in the traditional sense. Most newer vehicles are that way now.

2010 JK won't start on first try

Yes was *hoping* it was just bad gas but I've tried Seafoam and 44k with no results. Seems low miles to be a fuel pump . It has the life time warranty but I'm afraid it will be the one thing not covered for some reason. Oh, the Jeep is totally stock expect for Rubicon tires and wheels that the...

2010 JK won't start on first try

About three days ago my 2010 JK , automatic, 28,XXX miles started a new trick . It doesn't want to start on the first try. It does crank but won't start. Second start up runs fine. On the rare occasion that it does start the first time it sputters and back fires and has no power for about 30...

Sleeping in the back of a JK

Did this very thing this weekend. I was very comfortable but the girlfriend hated it. At first she was afraid we were going to run out of oxygen even though I explained the Jeep is not air tight. Then she wanted the window up, then down then up again. We ended up driving home at midnight....

Inline6, you don't still have those spacers do you? Do you want to get rid of them?

Using TJ wheels on a JK

Like I said, I have a small fortune in those wheels so I doubt I will be giving them away. Even if I was able to sale them for 200 dollars a piece thats still a losing 500 dollars.

Using TJ wheels on a JK

I agree that spacers are not perfect but as you said a lot of people use them and I would go with a well known company. That fact of life is that usually you dont get what you have in aftermarket parts back out and with bulky things like wheels shipping would get really expensive.

Using TJ wheels on a JK

About a year ago I sold my LJ and purchased a JK. Sooner rather then later I will need to replace the tires on it. I have a basicly new set of 35x12.50x17s BFG KM2s on AEV Pintler beadlock wheels. I have a lot of money wrapped up in these tires and wheels and hate that Jeep changed to the bolt...

I am a little disappointed that they basically put a JK front clip on the Jeepster.

    Jeep JK8 Project

It just dawned on me that we live in the same area. The only other JK8 I know of is at a dealership in Butler, Mo. On another forum I was really wanting to buy your AEV bumper, wish I could of.

threw some cookie cutters on the Jeep yesterday

*Random negative comment* Just kidding, sometimes smaller tires can be a good choice when it means better MPG and less wear and tear.

Interview with head of Jeep design

That concept came out years ago. Funny how it looks like something we would see made today.

Interview with head of Jeep design

I think he is refering to the body on JKs not the frame of a JK. I dont have enough experiance with WJs to know how they hold up over time.
