Soooo....I got stuck! Any recovery advice?

If that were me, and i had access to it, i would put the tractor on it. A good tractor is the best recovery device ever invented. Just a bit difficult to cart around.

    275/70/18 on LR3

Just in case anyone is interested, I just completely deflated the EAS using my IID tool. It still rolls, but just barely. It rubs on the body colored fender trim, so in an actual breakdown, I would probably just pull those off and toss them in the back. Pretty happy it was still mobile. I...

    275/70/18 on LR3

I just fitted 275/65r18 KO2s to my 2012 LR4. It is extensively modified, but I'm still getting a tiny bit of rubbing at just under full lock. Interestingly, the rub goes away when at full lock. I plan on driving for a week or two and then crawling under there to see where the shiny spots are...

Need Advice About Welding on an LR4

Hey Guys, I would appreciate some opinions on heliarc welding on an LR4 frame. I don't weld, so I would be having a local shop do this. I'm looking to get the front wheel well frame horns cut out, shaved down, and then welded back in place over the holes. The shop I have spoken with said...

GAP Diagnostic– new products / IIDTool update announcement 12/2013

Just quick update. Thanks to the GAP guys for their timely responses to my enquiry on their website. Best I can tell, the failure message was somehow caused by my depressing the brake pedal the first few times I tried the routine. I tend to have a foot on the brake when in a vehicle and not...

GAP Diagnostic– new products / IIDTool update announcement 12/2013

Thanks Umberto. Swapped the battery with no issues, but when I ran the battery reset service routine, the iidtool returned a failure message that referenced an "E7" error. Not sure what that means yet. Truck seems to working normally though.

GAP Diagnostic– new products / IIDTool update announcement 12/2013

Can anyone clue me in on what functions are performed when using to the tool for a "battery reset". I will be swapping a dying battery in my LR4 soon, and have seen this option in the menu tree, but am a little hesitant as I can't find any description of what this does in the tool literature...
