Looking for a used Eezi Awn 1200 RTT hopefully in or near Southern California.

Yep, I have been told and read the same thing....They are identical units and Sears is way cheaper and has a better warranty to boot.

Ya i figured the batteries to run it for 48 hours had to weigh a bit. Add in the computer to track the temp = one heavy, but VERY cool fridge. I guess it would make for a great base-camp unit but for overland travel where space an d weight are issues, i am not too sure.

A question re: the enclosure...How long does it take and or how easy is it to setup the enclosure ? Also, i might have missed it earlier, what is the "normal" or list price for the entire setup ? Thanks!

Was hoping you might be able to measure the width of the tent for me. I know Slee says it is 51 in, but i am hoping that it the widest point at the top when it is opened. I am hoping it narrower at the base so it might fit my rack. Thanks!
