How To Replace The Cabin Air Filter in A Cherokee XJ: Build One From Scratch
Installed this little DIY quickie back while insulating and soundproofing the firewall and overhauling the HVAC box.
Fun Fact: The Cherokee never came with a cabin filter. Built this setup to seal out a rainwater...
Rebranding under a new Page/Blog: The Grove Collaborative
Started things off with a few camper posts & setting up a new home for more in-depth content than the forums.

Interesting indeed for the wrangler crowd. Imagine it will be strict no modification coverage.
Full blown wobble always pointed to the trackbar momentum in my experience - with anything else just setting off the chain effect. In my case (cherokee) plating the unibody and fabricating a tube...
Pulled over on a parts run to check out this camper / roof top tent setup today.
Branded Bad A** Tents (The forum sensors this )
Looks like a three piece plastic molded exterior, with an aluminum core frame.
Really dig the look and concept of the structure. Seals directly to the roof...
New video dropped with a quick overview on the camper top conversion process & rationale.
Finally got a solid editing setup again - and planning out some more content.
Only 60 combined hours of footage on a hard drive to trim down to usable bits ?
Neat stuff! I've wired some sideview/rearview cams on the Cherokee to a mini DVR for dashcam purposes (on top of splitting the output to a 4ch monitor).
IIRC the dvr also had some form of network capability... so, if you rigged up constant power and a permanent hotspot in the Jeep you could make...

1994 Honda XR650L - 30k miles with a new high comp piston installed among other parts/upgrades.
It's lived a long life but is still a solid bike.
Ran into the expected for the...
@PCO6 that is very tempting! Always loved a simple 2 door (and actually wanted one over the 4dr)
I plan to finish up the build some more and travel/live full-time out of it, making the extra popup space valuable.

The heater is inevitably going to be hard-mounted in the jeep, but this was a nifty way to test it first.
(You'd need a decently...
@zgfiredude right you are.
Starting from metal up:
1. Epoxy primer (can skip, I had bare metal & rust to clean)
2. Rubber "Lizard Skin"
3. Ceramic Microsphere "Lizard Skin"
4. Light coat of bedliner
5. Deadening mat
6. Foam on top (driver/passenger floorboards 1/2" & 1/4" foam on all floor in...
