I had 1993 trooper. Trooper weakest link is their auto transmission , also engine uses oil , if you find manual trans then get it otherwise be prepare to spend /repair auto trans.

Thx, Toasty. I am afraid, because it is rusted out may not be able to remove it. what is that round nuts that hooked up to rear differential? do I need to replace that as well?
