Been awhile but I got the rear bumper mounted up. Had to have some brackets made because the ones that came with it did not fit. Only putting the spare swing out on for now. Pretty happy with it as it allows me to keep the class 5 hitch so I can haul things when I need. The brackets that came...
Haven't been able to deal with the stalling issue. I got sidelined by a failed tensioner and the bolt breaking off inside the alternator bracket. What a mess! The bolt came out but the threads are a little beat up. Put the dual pulley tensioner in and a longer belt and it's all back together...
Haven't posted in a bit but have a question for anyone with 7.3 experience. I've noticed that when I don't run my truck everyday it will stall out after I start it up. Usually happens twice and on the third go it stays running and everything is fine. If I feather the throttle on the first start...
All good, Seabass. I haven't updated about the truck in a bit but here are a few pics of the camper. Just about done.

Thx Seabass. We will see about storage. Id prefer a Granby or Keystone even or some other full size camper but this is what I found within my budget. That and when I bought it I had a t100 with a 6' bed so it fit flush then. The good news is my truck is a crew cab so I've got storage inside...
That's sorta what I was thinking. Push it all the way forward and have some space for stuff. When it was on my T100 I didn't have enough room for stuff as it used the entire bed so now I should have plenty.

thanks man. i attribute it to something like a maaco paint job...it looks great from about 6 feet away. the good news is that it is just about ready to be used for what it intended for. it has spent too much time sitting in my driveway just waiting to be used. pretty psyched.
Bought this Hawk last fall from an older woman in Watertown, NY. It was a bit of a blessing because it was so close to home and as many of you know it's tough finding a FWC in the east. I was actually ready to go to NC for an eagle and then this one magically popped up. It got it for 2g. It...
I just bought a 95 F350 CCLB about 2 months back. It had 205k on it and I got it for 12. It's not perfect but it is pretty clean. No rust and that's all I really cared about. I'm very happy with my purchase. Slowly modding it for my needs. That price isn't outrageous I looked at a lot of them...
Pretty happy with my 7.3 so far. Heading out on a 7000 mile trip with my wife for our honeymoon in June so I'm hoping its up for the task. Haha. Been getting 17mpg on the hwy and that's with 4.10 gears and 35s. I don't think you could go wrong with either a ford or a dodge. I personally like...
Holy ********, amgvr4, just read your thread front to back and all the work you've done to your truck is impressive to say the least. It's pretty awesome that you document things as well as you do. Really helps newbies like me learn a thing or...twenty.
