I would just find some regular 35 X 12.5 R17's in Load range E which is a common load rating. I prefer to buy my tires on amazon prime. From there I take them to a used tire shop in my area. I'm not sure if those are common where you are at. But they are everywhere in AZ.

Oh I am well familiar with a V10's gas mileage. I had a 08 F250 V10 with 37's and 5.13 gears. Problem with the CCSB trucks is the 26 gallon tank. Ended up having to add a AUX tank to make it practical. I wasn't sure how much bigger the tanks were on the excursions

I have seen that kit too. The main think I dont like about it the cheesy mount that bolts the inter cooler to the hood latch. It being made out of aluminium I don't see it standing up to any sort of vibration/abuse.

It was clearly done for marketing. It has more torque than the ram 6.4 and more HP than the GM 6.6. Its basically the fastest gas 3/4 ton with the best torque curve and people are kicking rocks over it. I'm willing to bet a 5 star tune will add more power than people need.

The 5 speed behind the 3V V10 is the same as behind the 6.0 and 6.4 diesel trucks. The 5r110 is far superior to the old 4r100. the 4r100 can be built into a great tranny, but stock they are slush boxes compared to a 5r110.
