    Fuso inadequate AC system fixed

To note, I removed the same rubber condenser surround on my FG when I fitted the larger tires to the truck a few months ago. As such, you are correct in your find, as the AC in my rig is much colder now.

FUSOBX My family and I just spent a week in our favorite place on this planet, Buxton, NC and I just have to say that the people of Buxton are definitely Expedition Portal people (along with being some of the nicest and most down to earth folk that you will find in this country) I literally...

Yeah I know, but they make a really nice window. I have yet to hear from the vendor, also, sorry.

Even though the windows are new, I was unable to locate the serial numbers before I installed them. They were supposed to be on a paper decal located within the wall contact exposure. As such, I contacted both Kinro and the online dealer, and I am currently waiting on both for a response. I do...

Here are a few pics of my Fuso FG now that the windows are in. I actually washed the truck yesterday, hence the fact that the truck is pictured here, today, dirty and in the rain. The windows are made by Kinro, and are actually nicer that I thought I had bought. The bottom 2/3 cranks out, and...

    High cost of Fuso parts

Really? What kind of 85 Merc would that be ? Just curious, as I personally cannot buy a quart of oil for $9, let alone an electrical switch.

    High cost of Fuso parts

I see that cost as perhaps high, but not outrageous. Try looking for the same type of switch for a Land Rover, Suzuki, Toyota...or even a Ford /Dodge/Chevy. Will probably be the same, or perhaps higher, I would guess. For my money, I can't think of a better vehicle than a Fuso FG to spend it on...

Those were in fact my wheels that you saw, and I still have them if you know anyone who is looking. I guess that there is not a big market for used FG wheels with BFG's mounted on them. They are listed on Ebay as well...

The windows open horizontally the lower 50% Light tint with screens. Should do the trick. I will post part #'s when I get them.

Windows coming this week I finally ordered my windows for the 'box' I went with Kinro 18" X 30" crank outs, as the trailing edge of the cab windows are roughly 18" in height. I will post pics of the install in a week or so. Should be fun.

additional photos I have posted some additional photos of the Fuso. I threw the bike in there as it kind of completes the package.

There is a single door on the passenger side of the box that opens upward, making a great awning, by the way. There was an additional door next to it, but I have since blocked it in. As for a pass through, I hope to coordinate that effort with installing some suspension seats, but that will be...

Currently the body is empty, with some marine grade carpeting and a translucent skylight. Space is tight given the 10' length, but as I plan on building the interior on the spirit of a VW Syncro Westy more than a Winnebago, all is good.

The new tires and rims have a higher load capacity than the old tires and rims (per tire/rim), and as I haul nothing but kayaks and coolers, I do not forsee a problem. As for the camper build, I plan on taking the Lotus path of "lighter is better" I cannot imagine that weight will be a factor...

As for the decal, I actually created it myself, albeit, based on an idea that I found online. The people doing it were using poor graphics. As such, I created this version with a more accurate Godzilla, as well as more "encyclopedia looking" animal images. The last step was to convert my work to...

Hi Mark The 37" tires were the way to go for me, as I am a beach bum. That said, the fit is quite tight, but there is no rubbing anywhere with the stock suspension setup. Looks like the tires the truck should have come with. As for the wheel manufacturer, I got the rims from Earth Cruisers AU...

I finally got my super singles and some 37" BFG Mud Terrains, so I thought I would post a few pics. I made the rear bumper and the spare tire holder myself. Not bad for a hack. Next project will be windows and a generator/compressor mounted to the right of the battery tray.:smiley_drive:
