Thats maximum flex with the right rear tire just off the ground. Made an odd noise at this point too?? Pugs, it sucks to have to do those away from home repairs in the dirt, if I were there I'd lend you a hand! Doesn't look like you get too stressed about it though which is a good thing.

[/url] Well this is what a pulled stud might look like! Usually the stud is flush with the outer surface of the lug nuts. Had two new tires put on and as most on this forum know that I am a bit crazy about watching these tire guys like a hawk and I will not go to a place that will not let me...

Packing up getting ready for my next trip- from BC to Montreal for two months. Also calculated the kilometers that we drove on our last Mexico trip, 6 months and 18,977km's! That surprised me! Prior to the trip I had two new Toyo's mounted on the rears and I have just had two more new...

Well I broke it, in Canada

Well it might not twist there but it certainly is affected and there is considerable movement there so having a rigid mount aft is a bad idea as I believe the movement aft will be accented. It seems that the frame pivots about the rear wheels where if the frame goes down on one side in front of...

Fires, Tires, 'n Bears Eh? Ooh YeyyaahhH!!- Trip Report

Great trip report and awesome pictures! Really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting. The ferry you took over the Fraser river was a reaction ferry, no motor, uses the flow of water to go back and forth. Pretty cool! And from Wiki: Technically, the ferry is a reaction ferry, which is propelled by...

Last time I checked it was in the 16mpg range. A while back I posted some numbers on here, it was a comparison between driving on a trip one direction at a faster speed than the return and there was no real difference, oh yeah thats imperial gallons so US will be around 13-14mpg. That one...

Hmmm, top speed maybe 75mph?? Generally I sit on 65mph-ish, the comfort spot. Which lake photo? Most are Sea of Cortez or the Pacific?

DON"T TAKE VACATIONS! WHAT!! I found work got in my way of vacations so I stopped! Right now we spend around 7-9 months year living out of this truck, it has worked out for us but I am not sure if it's that I got it right or we just adapted ourselves for it instead, give and take...
