Got some sound deadening and insulation done this week. Used it to haul the dirt bike to some trails today. Snow was pretty deep. Got some riding in and then drive through a big puddle for fun.
Ha! Until that last sentence I was wondering what the hell was going on. I was thinking “there’s no way there’s no snow and a big blue sky over there right now”.
Here’s my rear axle and door sticker pics. I’ll have to look at the stock tires to check what size they were. I never really looked at them because I knew I was changing them anyway.
Damn, the door tag and rear axle are showing it to be a 3.55

Started the insulation and sound deadening. I put some sound deadening on the inside of the outer body panels, filled the cavities with insulation and then covered all the interior body panels with sound deadening. In the interior sound deadening doubles as something that hold in the insulation too.

First of all, Weldtec took my order and custom made leaf springs plus put together their Baja Grocery Getter kit for me super fast. From day of purchase to the day everything was on my door step was less than two week. ...
First day trip in the van since doing the Baja Grocery Getter Full Performance package. Hauled the bike to a riding area and then took a few pics before I left.
I’ll post some pics of progress in my build thread in a couple weeks. Right now I’m setting up to have the Weldtec kit installed. Then give it a test next weekend.
