Experience of Daily driving a Ram HD on 37s+ with small lift

Thanks for the compliments. I'll update my trip thread with the details of how I broke up my trip to not derail your thread too much from your original question. If I had a diesel, I'd be super tempted to go with the AEV flares and 40s, so you won't hear me trying to talk you out of it lol. That...

Experience of Daily driving a Ram HD on 37s+ with small lift

I went with the 12.5 because I was worried about rubbing and it was tough to find a straight answer on what would fit. There is a very slight rub on the sway bar only at full lock of the wheel, so it's really easy to avoid it. I also never load the truck super heavy or tow at all so figured the...

Experience of Daily driving a Ram HD on 37s+ with small lift

I've put 30k miles on my '18 2500 PowerWagon in the past year with 25k-ish of those miles with AEV wheels and 37" Toyo MTs. The truck is on stock PW suspension with only minor plastic/pinch seam trimming. I think it drives great, and gets decent mileage. No complaints whatsoever. There are a...

    Nanuq - 2019 Power Wagon

Truck is looking super clean! Who makes the rod box? It looks like it opens from the top? I’ve been debating throwing one of the Denver Outfitters rod boxes on my PW.

I’m totally fine with it too! And I wasn’t babying it to get better mileage. The truck will run at the 80 mph speed limits out west without even breaking a sweat

Are you asking about the cap setup on the bed? Or if I was camping on the trip? I have a basic wood platform that I built in the bed for solo sleeping, but I was with my girlfriend on this trip so it was staying comfortable and warm (hit 20s most nights with snow on more than a few) at an Airbnb...

Cross Country to Montana and Wyoming... (Very pic heavy)

Most of the pics here were made with the Sony A7Riii using the 24-70 GM or 16-35 GM lenses. The moose pics were with the A9 and 100-400 GM.

Well you live in some amazing country! The PW exceeded all my expectations on this trip. Below is a pic of the trip 2 from leaving the driveway here in NY to parking in the same spot when I got back. I never bothered to hand calc for the whole trip, but when I did on regular fill ups locally...

Cross Country to Montana and Wyoming... (Very pic heavy)

The mountains of Wyoming were really showing off with a light dusting of snow, and making the truck look tiny. A run in with the beasts of the river beds made me feel a little uncomfortably small as well. This area definitely deserves another drive at some point. Headed East for the 32+...
