In theory, the ARK XO500 should be plenty (500 kg load rating is well under the tongue weight of the trailer), but you do get another 140mm of height out of the 750 (however in all my uses, it's actually been the situation where I can't get it to go LOW enough, not high enough, but that might...
Read the reviews/comments on whatever site you're looking at. Every one that I saw said "the image shows yellow but they're black" which was true when I got mine.
Lots to report today. I went up to Mesa last Friday and dropped off my Dweller for some warranty work directly from OBI (I didn't buy from a dealer; I bought it directly from the manufacturer so I have to bring it back to them). I worked with Vincent Jr. and he was REALLY helpful and...
I can see both sides of this. I have the same feeling about my RAM in many instances. "It's a $60k truck. Why don't they just put a Trailer Brake Controller in every single truck that comes off the line? Why even make it a $200 option?" Same thing for a $200 upgrade to increase the gas tank from...
I'm 99% sure that's the same head unit I have, which definitely has a BT option. There's no BT-specific button or anything, you have to change the mode until BT AUDIO comes up (I think it's the white button in the middle on the bottom). And there's no button to broadcast the BT signal to...
I'm really surprised you both don't have Bluetooth. Mine has it, with very short range (like, 6ft), but it has it so we can stream music. Take a pic of your head unit. I'm curious when they changed the models.

I had to take my trailer up to Mesa, AZ this past weekend for some warranty work (I'll post more about that soon, but want to wait until it's done; I have a leak in the rear vent likely caused by a bubble in the caulk). OBI has expanded and has a second warehouse I hadn't been to before...
Admittedly, we found pots and pans to be a PITA when camping, both from the space issue you described, to washing stupid pots and pans. I still haven't used my stove. I just bring the grill and do foil packs of egg bites for breakfast, and a variety of other foil packs for dinner (chicken and...
Not gonna lie. That "camping" scenario sounds awful. That would keep me home. You're gonna use a lot of power trying to fight those temps no matter what trailer and AC you've got. I would recommend you get a bigger generator unit if that's going to be a very common situation for you.

From the outside:
- Door only opens if you push handle to the right.
- In order to lock the door with the key from the outside, you have to push the handle left to allow the key to engage the lock.
From the inside:

Heck yes.
Dweller: voted the #1 camper by 9 out of 10 janitors and wardens worldwide.
But really, we only keep the door key with us, a set of the rest live in the trailer so I don't have to carry them, and the 273 spares are in the house.
Yup. I've run the AC in the driveway on my 15A circuit with an extension cord and the same adapter. It works just fine.
You know what they say: "There's no such thing as underkill." :)
I have a built-in Trailer Brake Controller (TBC) on my truck, and have to adjust the gain on the controller for each trailer depending on the weight. I'm assuming your TBC would be adjustable as well. From my manual, here's how to get that adjustment right:
GAIN
The GAIN setting is used to...
That's another thing that's been updated: the single bar sink slide release. My older one has two separate slide releases on either side of the sink, so it necessarily requires two hands to push the sink back into the trailer, but it doesn't hit the connectors.
And you don't have any gas struts...
Sure. But it's gonna be a lame phone video with no post processing. I've made like 3 videos in my whole life and none of them won academy awards. I'll get to that this weekend.

Interesting. I don't use the funnel, I just keep filling and it goes. Pro tip: you can fill it in the field using the tongue hose bib if you have a water hose in your trailer.
What in the actual ****. This is hilarious. And ridiculous. Y'all have remotes for your AC. Courtesy of @ROA-OFFROAD . Thanks guys!
Oh, and I verified, this video was made with full water tanks to show real-world performance. [emoji1787]
