Sure thing! There is a single 125AH battery with a roof mounted 100w solar panel. There is an additional Zamp connector to add a portable panel as well.
The furnace is 6500 BTU and has no problem heating the cabin very quickly. The thermostat also allows you to adjust the temperature so the...
Selling our Into The Wild Overland Boreas XT camp trailer. This is a 2020 model and has been used for roughly 15 nights camping around WA and Oregon. All systems work as good as new and camper needs nothing to hit the road. These campers are built in Colorado and have many features I will try...
I am not the OP but also have a boreas, the doors he has are the newest ones. They are the older style door with a new style tern window. The tern door with the non opening window that they introduced in the start of 2021 didn’t last long for some reason.
What you're not seeing, is that when norweld or whoever else is developing a product, their pricing is in line with the market. Yours is not. Like i said, I think this is drastically overpriced but i would be happy to see a sale prove me wrong. On top of that, I'm sure anybody who could swallow...
So thats the breakdown, almost 50k for the camper and 70k for the truck and accessories. Dude the rig is nice, no doubt about that, but this is typical "turn key expedition vehicle" "my rig is superior for 'x' reason" mentality and pricing.
I know that build well, and it was far more then a gasser work truck with a cheaper camper on it. If you value this truck alone at 50k+ then your pricing is on point, but even in this crazy inflated "overland" market you are priced 40k high. And im a cummins fanboy.
Or you could prove me wrong...
Kind of! But its not about how your truck looks parked at Safeway, its about how your truck works for your needs. I will take my 5 slightly smaller tires and full bed space over 4 larger tires and no bed space or additional weight hanging off the back on a tire carrier.
I run 35s on my power wagon. I have never once felt a desire for 37s that wasn't based purely on aesthetics. That desire quickly goes away when i think of additional cost and having to deal with a 37" spare. I also think my 35s look great, unless maybe parked next to one on 37s.
Nice truck. I wouldn't go with the aev lift to fit 37s, they will fit at stock height. If you want to improve the suspension, i would look into thurens .5" springs and shocks.
This would be my estimate too, considering the market today. With that said, i am becoming accustomed to the shocking prices guys get for their trucks right now.
