What is the tank size? I average 14 in my power wagon but only get about 25 gallons into my 31 gallon tank when i fill up after the lights been on for 10 miles or so.
Awesome, thanks! 40lbs will be a lot easier to manage then my maple offroad sliders were. Only part that gives me any worry is expanding the rivnuts, i hate those things.
Awesome thank you. Do the pinch seam bolts go through the rock rail then the pinch seam and back into the rock rail? Or just through pinch seam into rock rail?
Could i trouble you for some pictures of how those rock rails mount? I am planning on picking some up second hand on Saturday. I am thinking i need to put the 6 rivnuts in on each side but also heard something about bolting through the pinch weld?
I haven't done much. I did had some baja design squadrons in the factory fog holes. I use a portable air compressor that way i can move it between our 3 vehicles. I also had a diamondback cover when i bought the truck. I liked it a lot and liked how easy it was to remove. I only switched to the...
From someone who went from an 8' ram to 6'4" ram, its not a big deal. Give it some time and the long bed wont feel any different. Just pay attention to the breakover angle change and the long turn radius.
Copy that. The coil sprung Ram will ride better offroad. I am basing that statement off of my work truck being a leaf spring f250 and my personal being a coil spring ram. I guess all im saying is, if you want the ford then you can certainly make it more comfortable off road pretty easily so i...
Is your decision riding on coil sprung vs leaf? If so I think you are over thinking it. I am not trying to be rude or anything, I just know sometimes I can get hung up on something that in the end doesn't matter as much as I think. Maybe the rear suspension does matter a lot to you, but both of...
I would probably do a carli starter kit with track bar and sway bar. Dont waste the money on the overload pack, full leafs or nothing. Get the most shock you can within the 3k budget, after the cost of the front coils, sway bar and track bar.
I totally understand your dilemma. The perfect truck doesnt exist! I will say i have a lot of seat time in a 5.9l cummins, 6.7l cummins, 6.4l hemi, 6.2l superduty, and a 6.7l superduty and even a 3.5l ecoboost. The ecoboost was the most fun to drive, but all of them meet my needs given that i do...
I have no regrets switching to gas. I went with a power wagon, and while the fuel mileage is pretty bad, the tank size is my biggest complaint. I would look into a gas superduty if i were you. Maybe the new 7.3 motor, maybe a tremor.
