I had a friend try to talk me into golf cart batteries. Probably should have went that route.. my group 31 is way overkill unless its sitting for a while. Fridge is in the truck.

I have a couple ideas... mainly adding 2" box that goes from the front of the box.. area that has the larger section of tubing. Anyhow add one each down the side and potentially 3 down the middle. Was going to go with one but decided on 3. Cut off the factory D-ring mounts and receiver tube...

Good point... didn't think of that. Might need to look into that option again.

My main concern is the jockey wheel, it needs to be something more stout, something I can drop the trailer on the trail and turn the trailer with a winch pulling on the tongue or people pushing it. The one that is on there is even a PITA to move in my garage on epoxied flooring. Can't image...

The thing with keeping the power cord in the hinge area is zipping up the cover.

My CVT Summit Series comes with a light and 2 USB ports already wired into it. I just plug it into the tongue box 12v outlet when I setup the tent. I considered trying to wire it in full time but didn't want to drill a hole in the floor of the tent and the way it is doesn't take any time.

Notice how we have West Texas, East Texas, Belton and Austin. Are they selling them any other place? :)

I put lights in all boxes, to include the side boxes I added. The 3 normal boxes it comes with I added a switch to each box just to the side of the door opening. Easy to turn on and off and out of the way. I used Permatex black silicone sealant/adhesive to attach everything, the MSDS on it...

I did. I went in on the left side in the 2x2 section of the frame. Sealed it up tight with a grommet and silicone.

Took mine out for 6 days, 5 nights in the Ozark National Forest. Plan was to do the HWM Trail but sadly the water was very low so we just did part of it and then just went exploring... ended up on a few ATV trails which was fun with a trailer. Luckily only had to do an 8 point turn to reverse...

And they got excellent reviews anywhere I looked. I'm very happy with them.

I was able to align my trailer (caster and camber) without any issues using spacers... its just going up and down so I'm not sure what could be out of spec.

I was able to get mine out the other weekend for a shakedown trip. Things worked really well. Couple minor issues.
