I have a few Filson coats. Ranging from tin cruiser to the double mackinaw you mentioned. The double mackinaw will not be a 3 season coat. It's most comfortable under 40 degrees. The most versatile would be tin jacket with zip in liner. They used to sell long sleeve wool and shelter cloth...

Yes, it's sold. I bought it back in October. He moved to Germany or somewhere in Europe. Very nice set up, my first experience with kanz. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone thinking about getting one.

Yes , you are correct. But now your on to suspension, lockers, re gearing , driveshafts, brakes , wheels, tires. Even on the cheap end that's another $5-$7k and that's if you do the work yourself. Add that to your assessment for drive train, you're at $22-$25k Don't sell it short, you gotta...
