    Thanks. The receiver tube had a hole (not visible) behind the crossmember. It was accessible enough for my needs. Follow-up work (had I not sold the Jeep) would have been adding low-profile/semi-hidden safety chain mounts.

    Thanks Greg. Yes, I have thought about a reversed RHD steering box, frig84 (similar to what Jeep did with the "Mighty FC" concept truck). A reversed FJ60 steering box is another option, and is proven amongst the buggy/hardcore crowd.
