We build , using 3x1 aluminum angle, a frame. About 3 inch bigger than the door and about 1 inch bigger than the bezel. Then use this frame to insert into a hole in the cab rear panel.

We changed our mind on the truck cab passthrough. Still sorting out the engineering.
Our first step is to remove the rear window and replace it with a 1/8 aluminum sheet, exactly cut like the rear window. And use a new window seal.
Intention is to use this interior door below
Space heating in a cab over bed is challenging.
Due to the vents all exit at floor level and one third of the habitat is in the cab over bed. We planned for air movement with two circulating fans one mounted in the bed area and one mounted in the dinette area.

3d printing
We have small security cameras on the habitat. Other builders have noted, while traveling through brush, and tight spaces with trees these cameras can be damaged.
We are attempting to build brush guards for these cameras with 3d printing.
The habitat has a propane bottle closet.
(I don't think it is USA legal)
To adjust this, I need to wall off the interior. So that no fumes can enter the inside.
It has a carbon monoxide detector. And exterior ventilation.

This propane bottle has bolt mounts, unlike most. ( I priced propane bottle brackets and they are too expensive)
The swing away spare tire arm, has space for a welded bracket at the opposite side of the hinge, to mount this propane tank.

I carry propane and several bottles for water heating, space heating, outside grill and the two burner stove. The rig is a gas engine

DC correctly sized cable is much more expensive than AC cable. And I need to run 16 ft
While habitat is on platform beams. Attach subframe to habitat frame with six brackets each side.
(three part brackets are welded together on workbench prior to subframe attachment)
Some of theses decisions were deemed necessary as the habitat was too tall for shipment, with any other design...
