First light the next morning. Letting the truck warm up for a moment. Can't beat this scenery in my opinion Another moosy morning Found this spot where two bulls were fighting the night before. The snow was completely torn up and moose hair was everywhere. Couldn't beat the blue bird...

^ I can't say I've ever heard of that. I know in extreme cases they will lose their hair and look like "ghosts" Just finished up another 4 day hunting trip. Picked up some treats the day before. 60lbs of Moose jalepeno cheddar smokies & pepperoni. Repairing a repair, this seal failed almost...

Just wanted to add, 4 days of rain, and freezing temps at night. The entire time we were thankful for two things, the hard shell and the diesel heater. This would have been a miserable experience in a tent. Absolutely love this set up at the moment.

Did some more spring mushroom scouting. Mushrooms are already starting to pop up Lots of fresh veg starting to pop up as well Hard to give perspective on the size of some of these fires. This one was 81,000 hectares. Ended our trip by spotting this brute.

^^The tape works awesome. The biggest help is running the diesel heater full time on those cold nights. It dries out the air and gets rid of any humidity that causes sweating. The combo of the two has been winning a formula. Just wrapped up another 4 day trip hunting Before we left the truck...

Yes all of the snow has been 1200m+ elevation. Nothing in the valley yet. Definitely have to reassure myself I'm the predator when I see big bears and cats. Something about camping in total darkness in the forest that makes a lot of noise to get you on your toes. No doubt, last season I had a...

Last post, Couple of maintenance items. I've fallen off the bumper getting out of the truck more times than I care to admit. So I fabbed up this little grip step that works awesome. Cut some notches in it for extra traction. This was a safety issue more than anything. That chrome bumper with...

The first time definitely haha. I actually really like seeing torn up bridges or bigwashouts/drainage ditches. Usually they turn around the $50k+ brand new trucks and I can drag this old girl through them. Thanks gentlemen, appreciate the good words. Couple pics from the most recent outing...

Couldn't ask for a nicer weekend. I'm so privileged to be able to hunt this land. Bumped this cow with a bull at about 50 yards. No wasted meat with shots like this Spruce & 2 dusky Dusky vs ruff Again wishing I had a bull tag. 4 more days and one of these white tails would have...

^^That was one of a few of a few different wasps nests I found dug up. You can see yellow jackets on the outside of the hive. Finishing up the old kc rebuild. These are awesome kits, as easy as it gets. Lights before lockers? oh wait, no, that's not how it goes? Does it count if the lockers...

Last one, Next morning, too bad I don't have a moose tag this year. No bucks again this am, but another limit of grouse Birth defect or predator? Brought home 24 grouse this trip and a bag full of shaggies. That's all for now.
