    1986 GMC S-15

Had a buddy come over last week to do some repairs on his aluminum topper. Check out this absolutely mint '91? with 60,000 original km's on it. Ford's aren't normally my thing but this truck is something else. After our 1 night outing 2 weeks ago, we left for a 7 day trip last week. The...

This is the recipe - https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/12792/fish-roll-sauce/ Just don't add the 3 cups of water. Great for any white fish. First trip of the year for us, Making our own little suez canal Somewhere between ice fishing and open water? Went well below freezing but we were...

Defintely, frozen beer is just a waste. All good on this end. I've been really busy with work. Now that spring is here I'm ramping up to complete some of these unfinished projects. Thanks for the offer but I doubt this old truck will be leaving us anytime soon. Here is a random compilation...

Yup that's cold haha. I truly do miss the winters we would get back east. -40* was not uncommon. These old H4's definitely have an amber colour to them. It's been on my list to upgrade the headlight harness with relays here in the near future. A few pics from the last couple of days...

    Squarestream

Yes very minimal usage. Just turned it on to warm it up as we got settled and then again in the mornings. That fridge must pull a lot of your reserve I'm guessing? I really wanted to go lithiums but the cost was just to high at the moment. I could manage to get a second battery under the hood...

I've been to busy with work to get much done lately. Managed to get away early yesterday. Something about having the whole place to yourself. 3 hours later, no fish... Still better than spending the rest of the day at work! I'm likely one of the few that looks at this forecast and gets...

Ram Powerwagon vs Chevy Colorado vs Jeep Wrangler Rubicon vs Suzuki Samurai for Snow?

If you're talking about deep snow as in you will not be getting down to the gravel road, you want flotation. 50"+ tires aired down to nothing on beadlocks. Weight is definitely a factor, the lighter the better. Again I'm referring to bottomless snow that you are trying to drive across. Check out...

ITTOG's Truck Camper Build (was 6' x 12' Trailer Conversion)

Amazing progress in here lately. This is going to look so epic on the truck. I like the jack design you went with, super easy to remove and beefy. Those Jeep clamps look really nice. Where did you get those from? dealer? Why not just cut down a fabric reinforced neoprene sheet and use that...

Yes definitely not going hungry haha. Brookies are some of the best table fair, even better in the winter imo. The bear hide has been a lot of lessons learned for her. I'll just leave it at that. Sounds like you've got your hands full of projects. 8.8 is a great choice! Thanks, a lot of folks...

    Colorado slide in camper build

Yes! so stoked to see this coming together. Awesome choices on your design, window placement and that rear door looks so good. I really like the way you did the actuators externally mounted, that must have taken some thought! Can't wait to see this on the truck.

The '86 has a couple of new clunks and rattles I've got to figure out but aside from that she's been doing regular bush road duty. Lots of snow up in the hills. This was last weekend. We've been having almost a false spring in January and the temps have been so warm lately. Only update is I...

    1986 GMC S-15

I've really got to get my rear in gear and get this going. I've been jumping back and fourth between a radius arm vs leaf spring set up. I also need to go grab an 8.8. Figure out steering, shocks, wheels/tires, etc etc etc lol. It's coming but it might be a little bit yet. Need to get everything...

^Those Vexilar flashers are super robust and last forever. The newer versions have some different features and better batteries. My old flasher I paid $400 for it 7 years ago used and it was just time for an upgrade. That being said I did resell my old unit for $500 two days ago. They hold their...

Man I can't believe how fast you've been rolling on this! Unreal progress. I have faith in the VHB for a solid seal. It's identical to glazing tape and thats what I used for my windows and no leaks at all. Can't see you have any issues. How did you make out the speed controllers on the actuators?
