I think it is 44". Top of the platform is 56" maybe. It is not for short people. My tools and parts stay in the right side. Left side is stays open most the time and I oad it with what ever I am doing. Camping, hunting, or just running around town getting stuff.

Loved my Duramax. It had been all over the South. Went to Moab in April and ran some trails. Rolled it and drove it back home. Nothing special. Topper with a draw system and a memory foam mattress. On board air and ARB lockers front and rear. Building a suburban now.

Got the draw system cut down in length and test fitted in the back. Still need to cut down the draws. Got some fox 2.0 for the rear and a ARB dual compressor. I ran a york 210 on my duramax with a 15 gallon tank. Any idea of where to mount the compressor on the suburban?

Got the truck home last night and started to work on the rear draw system. Mostly because it was taking up shop space. This is the same one I had in the back of my duramax. Need to narrow it by about 1 1/2" and shorten it by about 9".

I did a one man break bleed and backed it out. Needed to clean the shop and washed the suburban off. Still need to get my front drive shaft cut down, mount rear shocks, and off to the exhaust shop.

They clear on flat ground. When you stuff a tire it hits. It is not the front as much as the rear. The front is 2" forward over stock. Trimming the rear fenders on the suburban is a little different then the truck. The rear AC lines run down the passenger side rockers.

Ran up the road to Transfer Case Express and picked up a fresh 246. While I was there they installed the slip yoke just so I wouldn't have to break the case apart again. Nice knowledgeable crew that I would do business with again. Got the case installed and then my rear springs arrived. 8 week...

Just did a "shock upgrade" on mine. I have had good luck with bilstein shocks. Good customer service.

Got the shock hoops and front shocks installed. Bilstein 7100 series. Also pulled the transfer case from the duramax and pulled the front slip yoke eliminator out to put in the 246.

I was just going to use my old VIN and not worry about it. Georgia is easy to deal with. I also live in a emission exempt county.

Before I put the shock hoops in I replaced the motormounts, both sides where busted. Replaced the stock manifold with a set of JBA shorty headers. Also went ahead and replaced my plug wires with a set of accel ceramic.

Front springs and axle are in. I left the springs bolted to the axle and used a pallet jack to slide the assembly under the suburban. Went pretty smooth. I also got the steering box swapped from over. PSC with hydro assist.
