    2020 F250 6.7L Tremor w/ Carli & 37’s Build Thread

Damn good looking rig! I installed 37's on my 2021 recently (factory suspension) and the Carli Pintop is going on 7/9. Definitely will be following your build!

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

I'm a professional adventure and nature photographer/writer so all of my partnerships are 100% based on me providing high-quality photography to them and exposure in the magazines/websites who publish my work. Plus, because we live in Moab, the rig gets significant exposure around town and at...

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

Yesterday I had the Method 704's and 37" Toyo Open Country R/T's installed. These are D rated tires and the combination of taller sidewall and lower PSI resulted in a much more comfortable ride both on and off-road. There's no rubbing in the rear but there definitely is in the front at full lock...

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

The last couple of weekends have been busy and we haven't been able to sneak out for a camping trip but on Saturday night we drove 45 minutes to a new campsite we'd discovered the previous weekend and spent a single glorious night under dark skies in absolute peace and quiet. It was hot and...

    Ford F550 and the 7.3

I would also note that if you got a 7.3 and really, really felt that it needed more power, there are options. I've read and heard that it's easy to tune for more power and if you want to spend some dough on a supercharger it'll throw down 600 HP in a snap. I opted for the 7.3 for two reasons: 1)...

    Ford F550 and the 7.3

I've got a 2021 F250 w/ the 7.3 and a Norweld tray and FWC Hawk UTE. I weighed it last weekend, fully loaded, and total weight is 10,500 with rear end weight around 5,800. The 7.3 pulls it with zero issues. Not as much weight as you'd have on yours but I really wouldn't foresee any complications.

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

We only had time for a quick mini-adventure this weekend so we left yesterday morning for the Needles District of Canyonlands, arriving around noon. We did several hikes and had a late lunch in the park before heading out Lockhart Basin to find a campsite for the night. The first five miles were...

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

That's all great information. Thank you! I'll add to the article when I have time. That Highway Products flatbed looks killer. I wasn't even aware of their product but I really like it. Yes, the actual cab of the F250 is basically the same size as the F150, both of which are SuperCrew...

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

I got the F250 because I knew I'd be replacing all of the suspension and it didn't make sense to pay extra for something I wasn't keeping. The obvious benefit of the 8' bed is more room for a bigger camper OR tunnel storage in front of your camper. For us, it was more important to minimize the...

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

We've been out on a couple adventures in the new rig and are heading out again in a few hours. Unfortunately, I crashed mountain biking and had to have shoulder surgery so we're limited in what we can do for the next couple of months but we'll get out as much as possible nonetheless. Our first...

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

No interest in storing it for several years and if things go according to plan this will be our retirement rig, anyway.

Deaver is definitely an option. I've worked with Alcan before and was really impressed with their product and service, plus they're only an hour and a half away.

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

Glad some of the information I shared has been helpful. I did have the standard bed which is around 6.75' long. The Norweld tray is 7' long. Departure angle issues are limited by the trailer hitch and exhaust on these rigs. The Norweld actually improves departure angle a little bit over the...

2021 Ford F250 Tremor Adventure Rig

I've been busy the last couple of weeks and am stoked to be partnering with several prominent brands on this build. The big one: Carli Suspension through CJC Offroad. I've got a Pintop kit on order for delivery in 12-15 weeks(!). I still need to figure out which company I want to purchase...

My wife is 5'1" and my son is 5' even. Both of them can load and unload their bikes from the Velocirax with ease. Pull the trigger! ;-)

    Ford Tremor

You think? ;-) Yeah, I think we'd be good. We actually have the 5 bike because that's all they had when we bought our rack but switched to the 3 since we only ever need to carry 3 bikes. They're such bomber racks.
