I bought one w/ the 7.3 in January, put a Norweld on it a couple weeks ago and have a FWC Hawk flatbed on order for install soon. Right now, sticking with stock suspension, wheels and tires but plan to upgrade to Carli, Method and Nitto down the road. Great truck and platform. Fuel mileage sucks...

No, it doesn't which is fine since the camper will be permanently mounted on the tray and I'd have to find someplace to store the sideboards and our garage is already bursting at the seams with mountain biking, hiking and backpacking gear.

I just sold a 2015 F150 3.5L EB on 34's with a 2" lift and FWC Raven in the bed. When on the road with bikes and all of our gear, we probably lugged around 2,000 lbs. and I averaged 11-12 MPG's.

That was me and two passengers, no cargo. I just drove to Denver and even coming through the mountains my MPG's improved to 13.6. I've got around 800 miles on the truck now and will be interested to see how it does on the trip home with the Norweld tray installed. I suspect that as the motor...

Probably true. Sits higher and has much larger tires. We tend to find ourselves in some tough spots so definitely need all the offroad capability we can get.

I'm eager to see it with the flatbed, too. I'm a little nervous as it is quite a looker with the factory bed but a slide-in camper wasn't an option for us. I'm sure it'll look rad once the camper is installed, though.

I'm putting Carli suspension under my rig but not the full blown Pintop. Overkill for a rig that isn't going to be doing any desert running while carrying 3,000 lbs. of camper and gear.

I was tempted to wait for that too but we're not in a position to delay the build. We sold our other other truck and are selling our motor home so we needed something for upcoming trips.
