Thanks for the response. I ordered the Toytech BOSS shocks that are for 0 - 3" lift. I will let you all know how they work out. My shocks were certainly acting as limiting straps in the rear. So these should be an improvement.
for some reason the pictures earlier in your thread have stopped working. I was hoping to look at the Brute Force bumper but those are some of the pictures that are gone.
jsnow what ome shock are you running? I need to change my rears, and need something longer. I am not sure the 5115 for up to a 2" lift is what I want I thing it will be a limiting factor to my droop. What are you other guys running? Thanks.
We did. We took a whole mess of teenage boys with us, and of them only my nephews new what to expect. The boys were all amazed and loved it. We stopped up a side canyon, while it was snowing on us, and cooked lunch on the tailgate of the Tundra. It really added to their experience. It was a...
I have an aal in the rear, and Bilstein 5100's in the front. The Bilsteins are set for two inches of lift. I'm running FJ Cruiser steelies with 285 ST Maxx tires. The tires barely cleared the upper control arm, so I added Poison Spider 1.25" wheel spacers in the front, for the purpose of...
They are a good size, and are pretty capable off road. However, I am only 5'9" and just fit comfortably in the bed. I can't imagine being six inches taller and fitting without being on an angle.
We spent a Saturday on the south side of the Uinta Mountains north of Roosevelt, Utah. You can see in the video that the snow was not packing and that I needed chains. My brothers Rubicon was very good with all of its traction devices. We made it to the 10,500 ft mark and then turned around...
I have run BFG ATs KOs on my last two vehicles. I really like the tire for its performance in most terrains. What the BFG AT KO does is this. It is very good at most things, but not perfect at any one thing. It has good manners on the road and is quiet for an aggressive AT. It is good in...
I do believe the arch you are under is Jug Handle arch. Rainbow bridge is near Lake Powell. By the way awesome report. Almost makes me wish I were an old fart so I could tag along.
I drove a '97 Cherokee for 13 years. I loved the interior, and exterior changes Jeep made. The only things in 153,000 miles that wore out and could be blamed on Chrysler were a wheel bearing, water pump, and the driver door window switch. These are pretty normal wear and tear items. Most of...
I have an '05 Tundra, and the head unit is acting up. I know I could buy something aftermarket, but I really prefer the OEM look. If anyone out there has this head unit, I'd be very interested.
