I read through all this and want to clear up one thing. The Super Duty from 99-03 are all the same from the F250-F350. Same brakes, same springs, axle, same everything. Coming off the assemble line Ford's Super Duty truck plant in Louisville and Mex simplified the process making the F250's...
Now there is some good news in all of this. REMOVING that last rim that was off and wobbling the tire and flat spotting it made a big difference. The 40-50 hop is gone for the most part and pretty smooth up to 65-69mph. Around 72 and up it picks up a vibration thats not so good.
Where I...
Another quick update on the balancing issues. I have now replaced all 4 beadlock rims with new beadlock rims. The other update is I found that one of the rims that was welded up wrong flat spotted the best BFG I had. This rim was the first one TWF said was good and a replacement. So a...
Need a Flip Pac replacement tent!!
OK, so now what?? I have a Flip Pac that was attacked by mice this summer!! Going to need a new tent. NO way to repair or patch, to far gone...
UPDATE on the balance issues.
I originally had a bad set of double bed lock wheels from Trail Worthy Fab as Andy mentioned above. Spent over $130 and countless hours rotating the tires on the rim 180 degrees and balancing to NO avail. TWF replaced the bad wheels with a new set and sent...
Just an update. I have about 45,000 miles now on these BFG Baja's. Maybe about 10K left at most. Not going to see next winter with these tires. SO by late fall I should be at 50K miles, not to bad.

I have about 45,000 miles on my 37" BFG Baja's now. Mounted on HMMWV recentered wheels. Pretty much worn down now. Maybe 10K left. Not going through winter with them this low.
Sort of long, drawn out project but this includes cut out flairs, 37 BFG Baja’s, double beadlock wheels, new Warn winch bumper and removal of NFab side bars. I also have had balancing issues. BUT Trailworthy did remake ALL my wheels. So I have 4 new wheels ready to get mounted. Just have not...
I Was looking at something like the pictures below of my RTT mock up. I had it so the tent would slide side to side so you could open the trailer lids.
Update on my order from Hero Army Surplus
7 cans were shipped for $239 but customs added $45 to the deal. Just opened up the box and I'll need 5 Scepter MFC Flanges at $10 each, 2 rubber (diesel) seals at $5 each and 3 straps at $5 each. That adds another $85 to the total with shipping. So I...
below is dead on to what I was going to say. I ran 285 mud tires on my Ford with the same # and was 45-47 front and 32-35 rear. tires lasted 64,000 miles. Just run chalk on the tire roll forward and check for chalk removal. Adjust until even contact with road. make sure tires are warmed up...
