You should absolutely be fine. I've run quite a few trails in DV on sidewalls even thinner than the AT3s, and haven't had an issue. Air down a bit, and just keep an eye on your cornering speed, and you'll be in the clear.
Looks great! Not shoddy at all IMO, and anyway, those pieces are in there for their function, not form. I like it, where'd you get the slides by the way, are they full extension? That's been a big impediment to my progress so far.
That 3m is what I used on my platform and stapled it after I wrapped the edges. How much of it are you covering in carpet, just the top? I'm interested in seeing how it works out with just the adhesive.
Looks great, really unique design. Where'd you pick up the handles for the drawers? Also, look in the patio section at your Home Depot, that's where I found some indoor/outdoor carpet that's water and stain resistant and matches the Nissan grey carpet pretty darn well. I used that on my old...
That's really strange, issues like that are incredibly frustrating, I'm dealing with a couple right now too. You put in poly bushings in your rear trailing arms right? So it shouldn't be them, maybe it's a ball joint or something, have you been able to inspect the bushings up front? I've had a...
Cool! Good to see you still running out there. I bet the recent rains have torn it up a bit even more. I've been sticking to Main Divide lately when I go wheeling locally, as you know it's more scenic and has less guys who think they're prerunning on the main trail at least. That said, that side...
Very very neat! I've picked up a couple over the years, maybe a little restoration would be nice. Must feel nice to work on something and then reap the benefits even in tool form.
I like it, nice and simple. You might be able to shift the plate over to one side or another of the lights to help give you some better approach angle.
Thanks! And that's what I've been thinking, it seems like the systems are pretty plug-and-play now, where they'll just shut off if it'll kill your battery. But obviously I wouldn't want spoiled food either. I'm wondering if there would be a way to trickle charge a secondary battery during the...
Very solid updates. I've been looking at a whole solar rig as well for an upcoming fridge. On an unrelated note, which grease did you use on the driveshaft? It's just a regular zerk fitting right?
