"Lola" - WreckDiver1321's 2005 Frontier CC/SB Nismo Build and Adventure Thread

Now that I can understand. I guess if we were all just the light trail to camp types, we'd just have VW Buses. ;) Not that a fully loaded syncro looks bad, I love them personally. But anyway, truck looks great, and I'm glad you're getting to use it. I'm realizing that having all the capability...

"Lola" - WreckDiver1321's 2005 Frontier CC/SB Nismo Build and Adventure Thread

My modification/trail philosophy is identical to yours, despite being in my 20s. :sombrero: I know how capable my truck is, but the several hours I might spend in a couple mile long rock patch would be often better spent seeing the rest of the area, setting up camp, or hiking I think. That's...

New Nissan Gear Packages from Nitro Gear

Are there any plans to offer a limited slip or locker for these axles?

    richard310's 04 Xterra

^ That is so clean, I love it.

Xterra1744's 2002 Xterra Build and Adventure Thread

Looks excellent. That winch mounting spot is extremely clean. It's funny how big of a difference sanding and bedlining/undercoating can do, really "sanitizes" a rig. Good work.

Excellent pictures! Those subarus certainly seem to do well for what they are. If I didn't need low range, I'd probably be driving one. Good on you for checking off all those mods. Definitely feels great to build your dream truck I'm sure.

    My 2001 Pathfinder (R50 ) mild/budget build

Looks excellent, it really came together well. :) Can't wait to see how you like it out on the trail, I'm sure the stock trailer hitch was getting to be a hangup.

    Co-opski’s Last Frontier Build

That's really interesting about the Nat Geo show, sorry to hear some of the details of another episode didn't work out. What a funny thing to be featured in. The Alcan Highway sounds like such an incredible road, I'm planning a trip on it next summer actually. Glad you were able to get some...

    Nissan Pathfinder SV (R51)

Looks like a solid find. As far as tires I suggest looking into some Coopers like the STT or AT3. You said you had some storage systems in place, what're you using?

    Co-opski’s Last Frontier Build

Bringing up an old thread here, hope you're doing well Co-opski. I was watching Alaska State Troopers on Nat Geo, and recognized your truck, or more aptly your roof rack. Here's a pic, I forgot exactly where they said they were, but it was near the Glenn Highway. :sombrero:

    My 2001 Pathfinder (R50 ) mild/budget build

I would probably be interested in that fab kit, but considering my size tire fits in the factory location, I'd probably just have a swing out for fuel and water. How much did the material run you would you say? And that makes sense with those tie-ins, very clean!

    My 2001 Pathfinder (R50 ) mild/budget build

I think it looks great! I'm glad you kept it cleaner looking than most, and kept the clearance by making it on the thinner side. Very functional and finished-looking. If I wasn't into pathfinders I'd probably think it was production-line fabbed. I'm curious, are the vertical strips that start...

    My 2001 Pathfinder (R50 ) mild/budget build

Looks great! Probably the best home-brew pathy bumper I've seen.

    My ongoing Xterra build thread

Nice upgrades, those shocks will make a big difference. Looks like you've taken your X quite a few places, that's really cool! Welcome to ExPo, and keep on using that thing, it's what they're made for.

two torn Discoverer AT3 sidewalls in a year

I have C rated AT3s and have had no issues over hard rock and sharp ledges etc. See if you can talk to Cooper about your issues, I'd think that's out of the ordinary for sure.

    Rigid Industries :: D-Series :: Dually & D2

I bought my Dually Spots about two years ago, and they've thus far been extremely bright, durable, and needless to say, have saved me from quite a few deer strikes and rocks when driving on rural roads. Couldn't be happier, and they're extremely well made. You can see them in the uppermost...

"Lola" - WreckDiver1321's 2005 Frontier CC/SB Nismo Build and Adventure Thread

Yup, I think it's time to pry open that wallet. ;) I'm curious how they look, as I've noticed the amount of rock chipping on the pathy from not having any flaps is concerning.

"Lola" - WreckDiver1321's 2005 Frontier CC/SB Nismo Build and Adventure Thread

I say go for it, not every expo rig has to be monochromatic, nor one that appearances aren't cared for, and the Rallyarmor flaps are well known to be solid stuff. I think it would make the truck look more "Dakar" like. Generally, I think a primary color with hints of the secondary in the...

    Tinting Windows

For what it's worth, I had my tint-er (TintPros in Huntington Beach, CA) combine my factory rear "smoked" tint with some 15% which basically yielded a ~10% or less. I couldn't ask for better, as it allows me to change, or use my sleeping platform without being seen. At the time I wish I knew the...

    scratch prevention ideas

I'm interested in seeing what works out for you, I have a similar issue on my pathfinder where mudflaps would be ripped off, yet my rear flares are blasted with rock whenever I go wheeling. I would suggest the 3m wrap, but saw you're not a fan. The issue I have with a lot of wraps at the moment...
