Good ideas on the topper, and I would leave that ARB truck exactly how it is haha, tires, suspension, and everything are exactly what I'd use.
Great looking sliders, glad to hear their workmanship is up to par. If I had a longer wheel-based vehicle, those would be the second thing I'd put on...
Good lord the truck in the second video is perfect. I'd take the exact same thing in silver or white in a heartbeat. Now all is needed is an endless wallet to allow that. :sombrero:
Gotta love Craigslist! Really really nice stuff you picked up there. In terms of the rear bumper, if you like it, just go for it! It seems to add some function, plus it's ARB, so you can't go too wrong.
I spoke to Cobra today, and their "technician" initially tried laying the blame on the antenna, but after convincing him that I had checked every single connection on the setup, he relented and said it was an issue with the unit. Sounds like it's the common problem of the "Antenna Warning" light...
I know there can be some issues with running it back there, in my case I mounted it relatively high on the rear hatch, and it's a 4' antenna instead of 3, so I have at least a good 2' above the roof. I had considered mounting it on the roof, but considering I'm changing my rack options shortly...
So I scrapped/set aside using the Wilson antenna completely and went for a Firestik setup, heavy duty spring, 4' black antenna, quick release and door jam mount which I put on the rear, next to the tailgate. I ran the coax, and soldered the connection, tested for continuity as described in the...
I consider it an overland mod, looks nice by the way. Definitely reduces heat, keeps your stuff safer by not allowing theives to see it, and stops that dash from cracking. I love my tint, I got limo in the back and light up front. :sombrero:
Must have missed the post, but welcome to the AT3 family haha. I really do love mine. :sombrero:
As far as the rustoleum bedliner, I've had mixed results. I used it on my skidplates about a year ago now, and they definitely haven't rusted, but that said the durability is really suspect. I...
My condolences, I have some well documented battles with a terrible mechanic I once used. $1500 later, I was beyond livid. Hopefully you get it resolved.
Nice upgrade, I have no doubt if the alignment shop is worth their salt that they'd be able to get it within spec. Mine had no issues, and hopefully you get some time to test your suspension!
There's definitely a market for them out there, typically people on NPORA or Craigslist would snap them up. The only requirement for them to work on the WD21s, and the R50s is that they had to come from the factory with one to have the necessary supports included in the body panels. So the...
I like the idea of the cap, plus having the extra lockable storage for when you drive the truck around town would be a boon I'm sure. Those tents don't require climbing up a ladder (if you have kids in the future something to be mindful of), and look like they offer room to change while...
Great pictures! Everytime I see shots like those, it boggles the mind to think what my relatives up there must have seen in the wintertime haha. They lived right by the Tetons, as in a mile at most from the base of that chain.
Both gens do very well in sand, put some appropriate tires on them, air down, and you shouldn't have a problem at all. We have lots of members who use their Xs in desert conditions with lots of sand, and all of them seem to mention they have no issue with performance.
Most likely a 2nd gen Frontier Pro-4x. I like the bed, locker, and extra power quite a lot. That or the new Z71 diesel Chevy Colorado, looked at them at the LA Auto Show, and they're a perfect size to me.
