How would the bed work? Some tough design issues in an 8 foot package. We have an XP and move it on and off the flatbed fairly often, but our impression is that most XP owners never remove the camper from the flatbed.
BUMP. Did you get your Swingfire started OK? I'm familiar with them and reasonably good at starting them. I use one to pre-heat the diesel powerpack (OM321A) that drives the snowblower on my 404.
DesertRatliff -- I think maybe we met in a parking lot in Mammoth back in May. We have an XP, and you were doing some skiing post-Purg. Do I have this right??? Anyhow, I'm a little surprised someone hasn't jumped on your truck/camper combo, its a great setup, and appeared clean and ready...
FYI, Superwinch is obsoleting their S7500 with the wire rope. It is a nice trailer winch, 7500 lb pull, and they're clearing them out for $225 w/ free shipping.
Couple of questions:

2) What is the transmit power of the T70 series? I downloaded op manual but Tx power is not in the specs.
Thanks for the promo!
We went from a FWC Eagle (shell) on a 1998 Tacoma, to an 8 foot Outfitter Caribou on a 2005 Tundra, to an XP V1 on an F350. We've only had the XP for 6 months so it isn't possible to provide a long term review, but we really like the V1. As Roaming Robertson wrote above, it is a complicated...
I get what you're saying. If one knew what voltage (and possibly impedance or output resistance?) is normally presented to the ECU when thing are normal, you could pull that wire(s) and fake it. With a schematic and some (plenty) spare time...
Curious -- Do you guys all live near cities with Fuso dealers, or how do you deal with the recalls? We have a Toyota but closest dealers are about 3 hours away, I just cringe when we get a notice.
We have an XP on order, soon ready for delivery (we think), so I follow this stuff with some special interest. Unfortunately I have no idea what was deleted from this thread, or who posted what, but several weeks ago I contacted one of the posters in the Wanderthewest thread linked above. I...
Probably a long time if starting now. They were starting to speed up, then they had a mold failure. We have a V1 on order, I'm bracing myself for a 10 month wait.
