Great motor in my opinion with no real reliability issues. 10 mpg is spot on in my experience, 1990 F350 4x4 crewcab long bed - 10mpg in town, on the highway, & towing a trailer! Awesome truck!

Well, then it's obvious you have the experience needed to determine that the stamped steel isn't going to cut it offroad (BTW, I don't disagree) & that the LR3 is nothing but a nice minivan that can barely go offroad! :) I really am glad to hear your just as opinionated in person! Seriously.

I just bought some Michelin silicone blades, no frame, they look good and have worked better than the old frame style for me. I cannot speak to longevity, but its probably at a mimium equal to a "regular" blade.
