    Rango.....1942 Willys MB

Any more idea's and I may be in real trouble, but thanks for the offer. I'll take some pics as I go and will try to do a thread. Main thing I'm gonna get figured out fairly soon is the rear end/gear ratio. The 22r and t90 combo don't like the 36" irocs in high range with the current 4.56's...

    Rango.....1942 Willys MB

I've kinda been poking around looking for the 5.14s seems like no one has any Eaton stuff. So if I keep it I'm gonna have to get out and really dig. It has the no-spin in it already so thats why I've been looking. But I was thinking about the 5.38s and how the 22r would like them much better...

    Rango.....1942 Willys MB

I may do that. Will have to get the hang of the picture thing then. Glad you like the ol girl. It was love at first sight for me. I've wanted a Willys for a long time and had even looked at your thread. When I saw it I knew it had to come home with me. Sold my fourwheeler and never looked...

    Rango.....1942 Willys MB

No idea the prior owner did the camo job. Looks like he just went at it and had a ball with the paint. I just camo'd a deer stand (the old porta pot in the background) and just kind of did what I felt like doing and what I thought looked cool.

    Rango.....1942 Willys MB

Ok there ya go. Had to get a buddy to help with the computer stuff. Anyway there she is. It's titled as a 47 but it has lots of other years parts on it, frame, windshield to name a few. I'm in the process of getting a Dana 60 to swap into the rear. It has a Eaton HO52 in it now and I can't...

    Rango.....1942 Willys MB

Love the build. I bought a 47 in mid October and have been having a blast making it mine. The prior owner has done a ton of work to it and I just get to finish it and fine tune it into what I want. I got it with 3/4ton axles, toyota 22r, tera low gears, and almost new 36 irocs. It sits low...

I just bought a 47 willys that's been built up by the prior owner. It's runnung 36" irocs like you talked about running. It's on 3/4 ton axles that are scout width. I like what you are doing and will be watching. I've only had my willy's 3 days now and am very excited to start playing with...

    first bike!!!!!

Nice. Good to see you made the leap to two wheels. Enjoy the freedom!! I bought a little klr250 this spring to save feeding so much gas to my XJ on 33's. The little bikes are a blast to ride. I've had several 650s and just love the light weights. They will pretty much go anywhere....alto...

Want to ride ,never have before, where to start?

I've been riding since I was 8, started on a good ol Honda Z50. Anyway I too suffer from short legs, I'm about 5'6-7" (depending on the day) I have about a 29" inseam. I've had several big thumpers and with some getting used to can be comfortable to ride, you just gotta get used to scooting the...
