Well, it’s four years later now and I hear they’re making the tank now. I myself gave up and changed trucks.

    Propane Basics For Build

In most of the new rvs I see they run a rubber hose from the regulator to a hardline, steel I think that’s runs the distance underneath. They hook the rubber line to that and go up through a hole in the floor, up to the appliance. They also spray foam over the kinked rubber lines and make it...

    2024 Casita 17' Spirit Deluxe

I hate the Firefly system and its competitor the One Control as well. Everything is integrated into the touchscreen and its computer. I don’t understand what was wrong with switches.

    Favorite Budget Tires?

I went with a Nokian a/t because they were 300 instead of the usual 400 in my size, 285/75r18.

    ranger build

It did great. I went back to a full size 3/4 ton gasser truck for the bigger fuel tank. Now I see you can get a 37 gallon tank for the Ranger. It'd be hard to go back to the Ranger's little 5' box though after having an 8'. The Ranger got the same fuel economy towing the Scamp as the 3/4 ton...

    Payload ratio

My 2500hd gasser chev has a payload of 2800# or so. There’s a sticker in the glovebox that says maximum truck camper weight is 1995#. Seems pretty conservative considering it’s an eight foot box.

    eatSleepWoof gets a Winnie

I’m no electrician but I’ll take a stab at an uneducated reply. I believe every outlet, light switch, wire splice etc needs to be in an enclosed junction box. There are not conventional junction boxes in an rv, they use the weird combination outlet/junction box things you found. If you changed...

    eatSleepWoof gets a Winnie

Yes those are odd. They are their own junction box, that’s the idea. There’s a very expensive tool that presses the wires into place. They’re rated for three sets of wires pressed in there, which gets real tricky. They’ve definitely caused me some stress. Since they function as their own...
