Looks like you’ve got your work cut out for you. I’m looking forward to the slow season for my our buisness. In the last 2+ years it hasn’t slowed down because of COVID related stuff.
If you’re bored you’re welcome to come visit the rock and help build my truck(s)… ;)

Your pace is at least...
Good to know it’ll be worth the effort.
This bar is not a about 2/3 as heavy as Hellwig bars, but it is 2-3x heavier than most newer trucks seem to have. It’s an inch or so thick… I’m sure it’ll be better than to non-existent bar it came with.
my experience is that vinyl wrap will magnify any imperfections in your work. I made the mistake of thinking it’ll hide sanding marks… not with a gloss warp (at least).
Sample of what it’ll do:
Leather lined, leather treat bag with drawstring closure. If it’ll handle this, it’ll handle any upholstery or other automotive projects.
You’ll need to find the 7” Mac 15 amp grinder to go with that disc. I found a virtually new one last year for about $40. It’s a beast… but truly awesome what it’ll do. It’s certainly not one you can hold with a single hand, at arms length, over head. I’ve also been warned that if it catches on...
Pro/Con of duals
Scuffed a rock at the edge of the pavement. I’m now seeing the downside of these OEM tires… at least it only cost me about $60 as a new takeoff.
Pro: didn’t ruin my day, drove off the busy, narrow road to a convenient service station, inflated inner dually to 80 psi, and...
My Ford 7.3 has about 17k hours on it. I used to be somewhat concerned about it until a friend told me one of the tow trucks he used to drive had its hour gauge pinned at 99,999 hours. When he was driving it, it had been there for several years without needing major work. And he said it would...
Now all you need to add is a “Sure Start” switch like the Ambos have. A momentary on switch, a pair of relays in parallel (for redundancy), and ____ feet of 00 wire and you’re set.
Slow cranking? Reach over and hit the Sure Start, and you’re house batteries are momentarily combined with your...
Makes me want to look at the E350 front end and see if I can mount up something similar without too much headache. On the rear the 16,000 lb hitch and Pintle hitch will work for dragging things out, but there’s nothing on the front.
I’ve not done any camping off the beaten path in many years… so I’m not there yet. Maybe the future will bring more of it, but I’ve been trying to get to that stage for about 15 years and I’m not there yet.
I’ll keep it in mind if I decide I need another 4x. $2k doesn’t seem unreasonable for what you get. I’ve heard someone local paid $6k for a solid front axle swap in a smaller 4x4… and that’s just one axle and the front suspension.
I don’t need one since, even “stock”, my 40 series can run...
I watched a 7.3 PSD YouTube video where the shop owner said that’s how he tests new diesel mechanics. If they can pull the fuel bowl and put it back in without loosing it… they are hired.
I felt good when I heard that. I’ve done it, it was an ugly job. Mostly just time consuming, awkward, and...

A kit with new O Rings was about $7 for the best ones when I did mine. I’d install a new filter and a Monster Glow Plug relay while you’re at it also.
