Two trips down. Overall it drives ok. Not quite as smooth as it was before, but not terrible. It has a bit of bump steer but larger tires are likely the cause.
Axle has 260k or so. I assume it’s original to the van.
More stuff clearing out the garage.

Carried as a spare to the normal van power. Had some dings but has seen...
I have all the parts pulled from my Ford 2002 E350 when I did the MGKit conversion.
Front twin beams, brakes, steering gear, etc
Rear axle (4.10 LSD), brakes, etc
Only thing missing is shocks which were absolutely shot. The brakes had about 3K on them.
Make me an offer. Located in Los Angeles.
These came with the chrome F250 wheels I bought. I’m not a huge fan, so going to replace them with the newer style caps. Anyone want these? Free pick up in Los Angeles.
It’s been a minute but the rig is road worthy.
Added starting stabilizer up front.
Added SumoSprings all around with custom spacers.
Rerun the repair heater hooked up to the main tank.
I have a small fuel leak from the fuel bowl that I’ll have to fix. Probably the orings on the drain...
Probably not the advice you want to hear, but the quickest way to figure this out is to open up the heater. You might be able to just remove the input hose side of the Espar and pop the cover to see if you see anything and can manually turn the fan.
Just remove the cap and pop the two tabs on...
The minimum rim size is 17" on a 2006 F series axle. At least from the factory.
Being very close to a completed an mgkit conversion myself, I would say doing the rear is significantly more work. If you can keep the rear, it'll save you time. Also makes sure the gear ratios are the same...

Fits in the rear pretty well once the cross member is cut out. I added a new cross member made of c channel ahead of the tank. It does hang lower than my hitch by about 2 inches which is why I'm over building the tank mount.
Nearing the end. Well the rear of the vehicle at least. It's fuel tank time!
Welding a tank carrier for the poly tank. It'll end up looking kind of like a skid plate basket with the tank straps over top. It'll be quite stout for any rocks that come it's way. Should have it knocked out after tday.
That's what I was thinking. It's a different way to have the beds arranged and always have them deployed. Then you could put the kitchen between seats with a pop out table since you have the longer wheelbase. I feel like a standard kitchen design would fit there. Maybe with swivel front seats?
Axles are in, wheels are on. It's getting closer and with the wheels on a bit safer to shift weigh around. On to dropping the tank and install the BW1356 tcase w/ Quigley adapter.
