Let's see you are probably on the South West side of Lac Cayamant. So the first picture you are probably looking East South East at the two small ponds and the second picture you are looking North East at Lac Cayamant. The base of the tower would probably be located between 400 and 420 meters...
Do people not keep track of any land marks or topography when they are travelling? Like we passed a waterfall or cliff back there about three miles and we have been heading in a northeast direction so we should be about here. Oh look that knoll looks like these lines on the map. In high school...
How about a Pelican Case with padded dividers and lid organizer. You can store all of your equipment in a watertight case then all you need is a table. There are several fold-up/roll-up tables. Find one that fits your size requirements.
I have a Pelican 1650 with the padded divider. I can...
I would say that my experience with Silverstars is that they are whiter, but suck in the rain. I wouldn't say they are brighter though. There is a tint to the bulb so some of the light is being filtered out. When it rains it is hard to see. Sure signs and snow appear brighter, but it seems...
I was just checking on the brake lines because I thought the D1s use female fittings on the flex lines for the front calipers and the Defenders use male fittings. So when you get new extended lines you don't buy extended female flex lines when you need a male fitting for the Defender calipers...
Are there any clearance issues with the larger calipers and pads? Do all LR wheels with the proper bolt pattern mount right up? As far as the brake hoses won't you have to switch over to male fittings for the Defender calipers? I have been wondering about this conversion since JSQ mentioned...
It use to be that everybody copied Jeep. Well it looks like it has come around to Jeep copying everybody else. The military J8 reminds me of a mix between the Mercedes Gelaendewagen IFAV and a Land Rover MOD 110. It still doesn't look as good as either.
Poor fit and finish
Does the J8 have a body lift or is there some reason they could not have tucked the rear bumper closer to the body? I see that the spare comes down and almost rests on it. Looks like the rear departure angle will suffer to put on a bigger tire.
Look at the tan one...
Even on a pallet they can get mangled. When I had mine shipped I went and picked it up from UPS freight and the fork lift driver scraped the side of it up against one of the yellow posts leaving a long yellow scratch along the side. I was able to remove it with some paint, oil and grease...
