If you carry a passenger, or a large dog,a full tank of gas or have an aftermarket bumper you are adding the same if not more weight. 70lbs is a very small trade off for water on demand. Besides, it's not like you need to have it full all the time.
Grecy why are you interested in these wheels? If you are circumnavigating Africa I would focus on eliminating possible breakage points, not adding more. Spacers should be a non-starter.
Why does everyone seem to want these Mopar wheels with terrible backspacing and slim width requiring spacers? There are better steel wheel alternatives on the market.
Not to hijack this thread (awesome build BTW!) but if you are interested in a wider steel wheel that doesn't require spacers look at Wheel Vintiques at Summit Racing.

There are many sizes available though the 17" gets pricey. I run 15" wheels on...

Jesus H. Christ stop ruining this thread with things no one cares about. Boo hoo.
Edit: I'll add something relevent. I bought soft doors for my Wrangler today from Amazon's Warehouse deals section. However they sent me the rear set of doors instead of the fronts. I knew the deal was too good to...

SPINOFF: A black car heats up faster than an identical white car. (From Pilot 2)
CONFIRMED
A fan wrote in and asked a follow up question: "Does the color of a car affect the way it heats up?". The MythBusters used two...
No matter the color of the vehicle, the interior temperature will always be the same. The difference is the time it takes to reach that temperature.
A black car and a white car parked in the sun will still reach the same high temp, but the black car will reach it quicker.
I love that awning...
