JK rear winch and shower install

If you have the dimensions of that plate you built for the rear winch I bet you could sell some! That's a great mod. Also do you know if you can buy the quick disco shower head seperately? I already have running water but only a sprayer right now. A shower head would be great. My water is...

TrekboxX drawer system for JK idea thread

I know I wouldn't need the sleeping platform with a 2 door. I was just getting at the fact that every inch of space matters to me, because I am so limited in space. Just my general thinking about storage.

Teraflex video of Thaler pickup bed install

Here is what I want to know regarding these conversions and the people that want them or have purchased them. 1. What do you plan on carrying in the bed? 2. How is your newly converted Jeep better/more useful than a JKU with the rear seats folded or removed? I feel like these conversions look...

TrekboxX drawer system for JK idea thread

I have a 2 door so the sleeping platform doesn't apply to me anyway. My line of thinking though is that the leg system is still taking up space that could otherwise be used for something else, and it's kind of an awkward shape. However maybe it will fit under the rear seats when they are in the...

TrekboxX drawer system for JK idea thread

Your method makes sense, and I can see your reasons for choosing to do it that way. After explaining it, it's not a bad way to go. I would maybe try to figure out a way to make the "leg" portion attached somehow or make it simpler/less bulky.

TrekboxX drawer system for JK idea thread

I'm not quite understanding how that sleeping platform works? Do you just slide the top piece forward? It's not hinged or on rails or anything it's a separate piece? Then bolt the metal foot piece to it? That seems complicated and clumsy so I hope I'm wrong I just don't see any type of slide or...

A few inches of space is very valuable with a 2 door!

TrekboxX drawer system for JK idea thread

I think most Jeep owners wouldn't have a problem removing the carpet and trim. Its designed to come out and there are drain holes in the floor. I took my carpet out over 2 years ago and never put it back in. I don't think Wranglers should even come with carpet but that's for another thread. I...

TrekboxX drawer system for JK idea thread

Looks like a top quality system for sure! It looks like you spent a lot of time making the box fit like a puzzle piece to the factory plastic trim. One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that the 11+ interior has completely different plastic trim than the 07-10 models. In fact, it has a lot...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

Wow I'm surprised at how well that works! Did you have to fab up a custom bracket? My biggest fear with that is how well an adapter bracket will hold up in a collision. The last thing you want is the seat to break free.

I really wish I could setup camp on a beach near here with my Jeep. Every beach I know of though doesn't allow camping or vehicles after dark. :(

Good looking Jeep! I'm not a fan of hardtops usually but with the soft doors and roof rack it looks pretty good.

    Permanently remove passenger seat?

Feeling gay has nothing to do with what you drive, it was probably just an extension of true feelings coming out. Good luck in your Land Rover.

Reskar's best bang for buck build.

I didn't use a ground wire on my antenna. The SWR was slightly high but I haven't messed with it. It was awhile ago I don't remember the readings but they seemed mostlyu inline with where they should be. I've only used my CB on trails and it works fine. I tried it in a convoy of Jeeps and I had...

What did you do to your Expo Jeep today?

I installed a snorkel over the holiday weekend. No action shots yet, just a few I snapped after I finished the install.

JK Tailgate Tables - The lowdown

I use a bamboo cutting board at home, so I'm not sure it's exactly the same as that table, but I wouldn't call it "slippery" at all. I think either choice will work well, but I would be inclined to go with the plastic version for easier cleanup and less chance of bacterial contamination since it...

^^ You gotta take those rear door surrounds off to finish the look! It really changes how the Jeep looks when they come off!

Reskar's best bang for buck build.

Reskar it's the Bestop HighRock Overhead Rack. Another one of my budget mods...I use it when hauling kayaks, but it won't work with a hardtop so I didn't mention it. Keep an eye out, Jscherb has designed prototype rotopax/jerrycan/natocan holders that attach to the front fenders of the JK on...

Reskar's best bang for buck build.

My Jeep is also modified with function>form and with budget in mind. I don't have a build thread but I'll run down some quick things I've done. Feel free to ask me questions on anything. Steel C channel front winch bumper: Pretty simple, cut C channel to length, drill 8 holes, bolt up. Added...
