Nice choice. I think you will be happy with them. In all honesty, I phoned a dozen places looking for Toyo, Cooper and Falken with Falken being the #1 choice. close 2nd was the Toyo.... and they were available in 35" so I was sold. Soooooo close to being tire brothers. lol

Hello fellow Pop-Up camper aficionados!
I have been doing some research on winter/fall/spring camper covers specifically designed for Pop-Up campers, and to be honest, I am finding not much. I see a lot of threads all over the inernets with people using covers that sort of kind of fit, but I am...
Lots of good options listed above. Since you are loaded with a Chinook camper on the back, getting a tire with a load rating appropriate is of course a good idea. I have been very happy with the Toyo Open Country AT that I currently have on my truck. Maybe too aggressive for your needs, but they...
It really sucks too because the saw is a killer little wood shredder. I use it with a little bar oil in it and sit it on a rag on my bench to catch what leaks out of the reservoir. lol There is a larger version of it.
Honestly if I were going to use it a lot more I probably would have grabbed a...
I like the DeWalt pole saw idea. I picked up a DeWalt electric chainsaw that runs off the same 20v batteries I have for all my yard equipment and drills / drivers etc. It is surprisingly strong and cuts great. Small too... though it is a bit leaky for the bar oil.
They are super compact and...
Usually it's needed so you can nearly jacknife the trailer while attached to the truck for turning around in tight spaces/trails. At least mine was like that and that is why I did it.
Nice trailer too btw.
And now all I want to do is to go camping. lol
Week off hanging with the family (staycation) with maybe a few nights here and there for camping coming up. Looking forward to using this more and more. Hassle to get on and off and all locked in place. I can really see the appeal of a Go Fast...
Pic dump continued.
This is the zoomed out version of the earlier shot showing just how far away this was.
My view from bed.
BIG lineup to get in. Check in was hoppin on day 1.
Bug murder scene. You should have seen it after I got home... this is 1/2 way on this trip! lol
On the...
Photo dump from BCOR trip in no particular order...
Solar working good. 2 x 100 watt Renogy solid panels with a Victron 15 amp MPPT controller.
Nightly campfire talk with a lovely woman telling us stories about her and her husband in the 1970's and 1980's driving around the world. Guinness...
Funny you would say that. A few people including the guy on the BC Ferry lower deck said the same thing. He got me parked and was admiring it. I popped out of the truck, and he said "Nice camper, what brand is it" I said "It's a Greg Bird special...lol" He said exactly what you said.... no one...
I bet man...
I really like those campers. I have seen a few around over the years, and they seem to be well made. I think they are from Canada too as I recall? So, likely well insulated. lol
Enjoy man. WHen you start a new thread be sure to post a link here so we can find you.
Photo Drop!
Ok, its been a long week(s) of finishing stuff. But it is 100% useable, tested and all good to go. I had some small tasks like running lights and testing a few other systems as well as tuning the power systems and so on. Now I can say everything is working and ready to go. I still...
Leaving tomorrow morning on the first ferry off the island. Heading to the BC Overland Rally. First night sleeping in this baby will be on the road.
