Pop-Up Camper - Custom Build (scratch built) Oasis-Si

Hello All. It's been a minute. Work sort of stalled out recently, mostly because I was SUPER stoked to go the the NWOR in Plain Wash this weekend... then realized that it was my son's graduation on the Friday. Ugh. Wind = out of sails. So mild depression aside, I let stuff sit for a few weeks...

I decided to build my own Pop Top camper

Man, I replied to this on my phone right after your initial post about moving on... and it wasn't posted? Odd. Anyhow, the end of an era and moving on is sometimes the right thing to do. At least (and if nothing else) you got a lot of use out of it. Onwards and upwards they say.

Pop-Up Camper - Custom Build (scratch built) Oasis-Si

I can hardly believe it, buty I can sleep in this thing now. lol Took only like 17 years (it feels like) to get here, but hey... it's the journey and the result right? I sorted out the lower bunk (stealth camping bunk) and my 6'1" 210# frame can fit in there quite comfortably with room to spare...

To Pop Up or not to Pop Up?

I like the height of the pop-ups as well... but honestly, after working on building my own custom Pop-Up camper... I would go hard sided all day long. The drawbacks of the pop up are far outweighed by the benefits of the hard sided camper. The Total Composites campers are indeed amazing, and are...

Pop-Up Camper - Custom Build (scratch built) Oasis-Si

Hello again. It was a beautiful sunny and warm (almost hot) weekend, first one pretty much this year! It has been raining and miserable, cold and even snowy so far, and that is not a motivating environment when you need to do most of your stuff outside. I managed to get my new exhaust system...

Total Composites Slide In Camper Kits

I have seen, heard and read some good things about these units... a bunch of YouTube channels I follow have these and have done reviews on them, all of which seem to be favorable. Ecoflow seems to be one of the better products out there for portable power and I have no doubt they put a lot of...

Total Composites Slide In Camper Kits

People pay $70K plus for slide in campers that are essentially junk. Substandard materials, poorly insulated, leak prone, rubber roof over cheap plywood and not up to the task. I would rather pay $15-20K for a rock solid shell with top of the line windows, doors and fittings and spend another...

Pop-Up Camper - Custom Build (scratch built) Oasis-Si

Tickets booked for NWOR and BCOR this year, so su[er stoked to get this puppy out there. I am planning a couple of local shakedown weekends soon to test it out. It has been raining for like 2 months straight now, and cold... and I am a wimp (who does need to go get a proper sleeping bag for this...

    Camper jack attachment durability

When I built my camper, my friend and I worked on this pretty extensively. Needed to be strong and durable. I managed to pick up a decent set of steel camper corner attachments for the legs long with a rebuilt set of hydraulic legs for a fair price. The corner brackets are attached into the...

Pop-Up Camper - Custom Build (scratch built) Oasis-Si

Wow... thanks for the compliment Jake. It's been a LONG time coming to get it to this point where it is usable, like 4 years longer than I expected. As you likely read, lots of 'life' getting in the way of projects, Just the way it goes sometimes.

Great suggestions... wish I could see the links/photos? Nothing showing up for me? Baby drawer locks are a great idea.
