MDC has several options similar to Black Series. Apparently MDC USA has a big showroom in SoCal. Again, I think the price is a touch beyond your target.

If you are ok with a pop top, the Opus OP15 could meet your sleeping and toilet needs. The fabric is a PVC also so not quite as troublesome as canvas. I think they are a bit over the price range you listed.

I'm intrigued. I really expected virtually a carbon copy layout of the Opus OP15, which I don't even mind, but I like this layout even better.

How Aussie are you talking? Black Series and MDC both claim to be Aussie designed though they are produced in China.
There is a company called Lifestyle Campers also with their Reconn models. I believe they claim to be Aussie made. They are all pop tops though...
Awesome! I really like the Karavan and like I said, probably tops on my list. I prefer dispersed camping anyway so the configuration is not a deal breaker. I believe I've seen you are in CO. I'm in southern AZ but try to get to CO at least once a year. If possible I'd love to checkout a Karavan...
Most of the time not an issue at all. For me the issue is not about opening the door on the traffic side. The minor issue is in the case of occasional road trip camp stops in an organized campground. They are typically setup with the space for for setting up camp, maybe with tables or just the...
Doh! [emoji3525][emoji2361] Still one of my favorites. Just a bit awkward in U.S. organized camp sites. I spend most of my time in disbursed camping which is kind of the goal of these types of trailers but it would be nice to be setup correctly for the occasional KOA type stop in route.

I didn't realize KK was mirroring layouts to curbside for the U.S. market. Is that true of the Karavan also? The KK Karavan is probably the trailer that fits all my desires the best but it would cement itself at the current top of the list with proper curbside U.S. configuration for the...
That's awesome! That Karavan is probably tops on my list right now if money was no issue. There really isn't anything else similar available in the U.S. currently.

You sound very similar to me and my desires. It is quite a conundrum here in the U.S. market. I have a couple I am tracking but they have the price issue.
Look at the OffRoadRV.com Sniper X.9. That little trailer peaks my interest but you are looking at $38k. They have a distributor out of...
That Kimberley Karavan is definitely one of favorite designs. It pretty much checks all my boxes. I just want to see them stay stable in the US market.

I'd really like to have a Karavan. Just can't quite swallow the price yet. I also want to see them maintain a solid presence in North America. The Karavan really is the trailer that just about checks all the boxes in my wish list.

I'd say first and foremost, no matter the chosen suspension design, your trailer must be riding on the correct spring rate for your loaded trailer weight. This is where the air bag suspension is nice because you are essentially tuning your spring rate for your current load based on the pressure...
The Kimberley trailers are awesome. I have no questions about their Australian heritage and durability. They are sweet! If I could afford one I would have one.
