Not a very complete answer. I could be wrong and I would like to know for sure if I am, but I don't believe these Zone trailers or the OffroadRVs trailers don't have ties back to China and the Black Series, MDC, OPUS, etc trailers. The trailers as a whole and specific components like the...
Yes they are and also priced accordingly in yet an even higher tier. I think the Kimberley trailers look great. Would have loved to have been able to buy your old Kamper just recently. The new Kampers are as expensive as the MDC caravans. I got the U.S. price list and brochure from the new U.S...
I much appreciate your feedback on this topic. I think it would be great if you broke this down in a very open and honest manner in the MDC thread specifically. It might help your trust and growth in the U.S. market. I'm sure there are others like myself that are looking for very capable...
Kimberley I'll believe are completely different from the other group. That Zone. Nope. It might be assembled in Australia, like the others are, but all the main parts, frame, suspension, boxes, etc are coming out of the same Chinese factories. They are identical. They essentially look like...
It looks exactly like another version of the OPUS OP15. All these Australian caravans (Black Series, MDC, OPUS, etc.) are Chinese knockoffs of each other. Not saying that's a bad thing. It is just like the Chinese RTTs. Same basic thing then mix and match minor features and layout changes.

I think MDC really needs to get on the ball and deliver the XT16 Island to the U.S. That is definitely one of the best layouts they have.

I know the dealer up in Phoenix has an XT16 East West he's been pushing. Bet you could get a nice deal on it if you were willing to take a road trip.

I feel like based on his post,
"If you're interested in trying before you buy, I have mine listed on Outdoorsy in Los Angeles"
he is alluding to you renting it for a trip. My guess is Outdoorsy is maybe some sort of private ownership RV rental site?

This is super sweet. I wish I was in a different spot in savings right now to snag this. Keep this thread up to date if you haven't sold this in a couple months I may be ready. Not that that helps you now but just saying. I really wish I could pull the trigger now.

I like these trailers. One thing, in looking at the USA models and OZ models, I really prefer the floor plan of the XT15HR Hybrid and XT16HR Island. In particular the North/South bed so you don't have to climb over your partner. The only model on the US site is the XT15PT Pop Top. If I'm...
That is a really nice build. Similar to what I would love to do. Wish I had the cash to snap that up and save myself some time.

I hand calculate my mpgs every fuel up in an app on my phone and my computer estimate is regularly 1 to 1.5 mpgs high compared to the hand calculations. I'm basically averaging 13mpg hand calculated in mixed town/hwy driving on the stock 33s. I do have an RTT on the back now but I really haven't...
Super disappointed to hear about your E1 experience. I really thought that was going to be my solution when I go to 37s. Now I'm back to searching. :-(

Looks great both ways. I have to admit I kind of liked the chrome lugs at a distance with the fake beade lock ring bolts. I do like it with the center caps better for sure.

Damn! So freaking awesome! I like your idea of just taking the spare and extra attachments off and latching the swing arms open if I ever need to drive with the tailgate down. This bumper is tops on my list now.
Does anyone have a picture or link to pics of the front bumper?
