    Toilet Paper transportation and dispensing

Baby wipes are for babies. For the cleanest posterior only a portable bidet will do. ?

Nothing says overlanding like a khaki ripstop TP holder made in South Africa. Anything less would be uncivilized. Camp Cover TP Holder I use a gallon zip top freezer bag. ;)

    Dometic Freezer issues

Have you reached out to @Dometic on here? I'm not sure if that would be any more successful or not but since they are a supporting vendor and sponsor I would hope they could steer you in the right direction. I don't think you are alone when pointed to 'your local dealer' from Dometic customer...

interference between spring poles and awnings...

I think mine is something similar but there's about a 5" rise to tuck it behind my awning. Do you have a picture of the awning set to it's working height? How is the Rhino Rack awning structured? Would it be possible to change the rod support hole from the tent frame to something on the...

interference between spring poles and awnings...

Most folks (myself included) just bend the spring rods to clear the awning. I'm not sure if I have a picture to show them or not but I'll check. Basically those 3 rods would each get 2 bends. I put mine in a bench vise and then bent them trying to keep the hook in the same plane as the bends...

    RamCruiser...the build

Did you fabricate these tube rails or purchase? Can you show a better picture of how they're mounted to the pinch seam?

if hiding spare truck key IN cab of 2020 F350 - an issue with truck getting confused that keys are IN the truck as well as out ?

My suggestion would be remove the battery like Mike just mentioned. The other thing you could try is to slip the key into an RFID blocking wallet and see if that prevents the signal from getting to the truck. Edit, I would still hide a plain (non-chipped) key under the vehicle somewhere. A...

Raptor Liner on wood sides trailer not holding up? How can I fix it?

One thing to add on the FRP... I would not use the stuff from Lowes because I don't think it's really rated for outdoor use. I could see that stuff yellowing and getting brittle over time if left to the elements. It's usually the product you see lining a bathroom wall or some other similar...

2006 Dodge Mega cab camper home build (with Pictures)

Thanks. That's only 100# more than we were on our last trip out (2 adults, 2 kids, gear, 2 kayaks, rack, rtt, etc.) I have found a few suitable service bodies but need to figure a few more things out before we pull the trigger.

    Options for flat-sided storage boxes?

We use ESD safe divider boxes a lot at work and they seem like a great solution for those not needing to check the water resistant box. They are straight walled, have lots of divider options, snap on lids (no latches), and stack very well. They're not as 'overlandy' as a Wolf Pack but they may...

Recommendations for rechargeable LED lantern for table?

I like the little Nitecore LA30. They list the beam color as a High CRI so I'm not sure if that suits your 'warm' color requirement or not but it's a great little rechargeable light.

2006 Dodge Mega cab camper home build (with Pictures)

I'm looking to do a similar arrangement to our truck. I've been shopping around for used beds and trying to get a feel for prices vs new and I totally understand the appeal for buying a used one. Even one that needs a little TLC would be over half of a new one. When I spoke with a CM Truck...

Point me to a 72"-80" wide RTT?

Mt Denali is ~87" long. We've had ours on a daily driven Dodge Ram for around 4 years now. It's pretty comfy for 4 people while the kids are smaller but as they approach teenage years that will be challenged. Is sleeping 4 people or your dimension range more important?

    Is Zodi Dead?

That stinks to hear. I love our Zodi Extreme and was considering getting one of their burners separately. We use ours over the partner stove but sometimes it would be nice to have a separate burner.

    AT Summit Interior attachments/modifications

I'll be interested to see how this door(s) works out for you. Are you planning on 2 or 1 large door? Dust isn't as big of a concern to me as water intrusion is. I guess I fail to see how the original design is supposed to keep water from rolling in around the tailgate and then off the...

    AT Summit Interior attachments/modifications

I don't have one yet but we have been looking to order one for our long bed dodge. I've seen where folks would mount L track on the walls which give you all sorts of options for hooks, mounts, gear nets, etc. I know that penetrates the walls but other than velcro to the carpet I'm not sure...

    Denver Mattress- Overlander RTT mattress

I stumbled across this today when looking at replacement mattress options for our CVT RTT. They don't make one big enough for our Mt. Denali (87" wide) but figured this may help someone else out there looking for a replacement mattress. No affiliation. Price is a bit high considering some...

    Fuel Storage at Home?

All my flammable fuels are stored in a 60 gallon fire safety cabinet on the covered back porch of my shop. Gasoline, diesel, propane, butane, lighter fluid, etc. One day I'd like to take the 20# propane tanks out and make a rack for them to free up some space but it hasn't been a huge priority.

If you want a cutting board you can put hot stuff on I would recommend getting one made of Richlite. The Cutting Board Company will custom cut one to your size spec's out of just about any commonly used cutting board material. (See post above)
