Thanks for your in depth reply. I really like both of them for different reasons. It will probably boil down to what I can find that I feel like is the "perfect" deal. And how much more auto insurance will be for the lexus.
I'm looking to get a newer suv for the wife and I to travel and camp out of. There aren't too many options out there that aren't crossovers. I don't really like the 4runner visibility for the driver, and the fact that "everybody" has them. I really like the 2nd Gen gx460 for the comfort and...
Bump and update
Price- $3000
I put a,new set of 265 75 16 Cooper RTX on the montero. I spend 95% on the road, so I opted for a quieter, smoother ride. Also, that underside photo with the muffler is not rust on the body. Just a film of dust and dirt. Everything is completely solid under there...
Thanks for the suggestions. I figured I would offer it up to people who know what it is first. I'll probably list it other places after I get back from vacation.
Hi all. I have my gen 3 for sale on the forum. I'm asking for around $3200 for it. If you read the ad, I'm wondering if I am reasonable on the price or not?
Any comments are appreciated
I am looking to sell my Montero. It has about 111000 miles on it. My new 5 year plan requires me to move on. I have put about 15000 miles on it since owning. Including trips to Florida from Virginia after purchase and camping in North Carolina and Alabama. Pretty sure everything works as...
Depending on what size flywheel you are using, you could switch to the other style starter mount ( straight or diagonal mounting pattern. I had to drll and tap a new hole in a sbc block and swith to the other mounting pattern. Google difference in straight or diagonal starter mount. Good luck
Probably going to be getting rid of my 01 xls in the next couple of months. I know using it as a trade in is not a great idea, so I figured I would see if anyone on the forum has interest. It has just under 110000 on it , but I drive it almost every day. Pretty sure everything on it works like...
The wheel/tire combo looks great. I had to get my bfg tires road force balanced to get rid of 95% of the steering wheel shimmy. I drove it home 1000 miles after buying it on a bad balance job. From 62 to 70ish it shook pretty bad.
I have been looking at getting those same wheels for a while but...
If you don't mind, what kind of issues were you having with the '18? Only asking because I am thinking about picking up a '17 or '18. Wife is on her second outback in 11 years and has been pretty good.
Thanks
