Hi Umberto! Nice to see you here as well! Actually, we will be even quicker on the release than 3-4 months - more like 2 to 3 till the units are avail. in retail :-p I was going to post on this another time, but it seems like this is appropriate (hope this is not too much of a hi-jack...

Exactly. SW transfer is a non-issue. You would have to purchase a ne VIN license for not tooooo much. Britpart dealers are free to make their own prices and we are asked not to quote any - but somewhere slightly north of GBP50... (shhh :-p ) Thanks on the kudos!

It can go higher with a combination of the two. The EAS ECU has a plausibility range of ~100mm meaning that the total possible range of adjustment is roughly 100mm (between 3"-4") on the LR3/4. Exactly how much you can go up or down depends on the position of the original EAS calibration within...

Small amount of of info here in the first paragraph http://www.rangerovers.net/outfitting/tires/p38tires.html the rest is mostly tires. More pics and wheel type names (and silly comments) here http://www.rangerovers.net/forum/7-range-rover-mark-ii-p38/32104-post-wheel-options-p38-3.html

Hi David, As Scott said, this is definitely true. The difference to rods is, that you drive on the street at an optimized alignment and then add lift when you reach an off-road section in your journey without crawling under the car to change or adjust links. You simply plug the IIDTool in...

    Lucky 8’s Project P38

OK, did some more quick checking: "According to Atlantic British, the height of a P38 in standard ride height with stock tires measured from the ground to the top of the wheel well is 31-3/4” in the front, and 32” in the rear." Alan Bates...

    Lucky 8’s Project P38

I can't measure mine as my ride height is no longer stock and I do not have calibration blocks to get the suspension exactly back to OEM specs. Paradigm, are you sure on those 19"? This actually sounds a bit high for OEM standard ride height - it sounds closer to OEM off road height. The...

Axles? As in 'live'? Methinks not... Suspension – EXR The EXR rally car uses fully independent suspension with geometry that has been designed and modeled to give specific competition handling characteristics. Combining the low centre of gravity, wide track and long wheelbase produces...

Phyrra is absolutely correct: the IIDTool (or EASControl for those wanting only the EAS functionality) reprograms the target height settings in the EAS ECU whereas the Llams goes between the height sensors and the ECU and alters the signals - sort of like 'electronic rods'. The Llams does allow...

Real World P38 Coil Suspension Advice?

A couple of items to think about in this regard: if you do stick with the EAS, you can use Gen3 air springs (such as these http://www.suncoreindustries.com/landrover-suspension/rangerover/1995-2002-four-wheel-air-spring-bags-with-shocks-replacement-kit.php this is w/shocks and springs - they...

Real World P38 Coil Suspension Advice?

Actually you only need to jumper 2 pairs of wires as both 12v and Gnd are in the harness. If you want to make it permanent, solder the wires together. 0.00001cents in solder and electrical tape. Pin 1 to 25 and 7 to 18 on the EAS ECU connector under the driver's seat (LHD).

No. Ignoring a brand - especially one as powerful as LR - is completely illogical. And I have seen LR's marketing and the effort put into brand heritage first hand. They know what they are doing. I have no idea on causes or results regarding LR's MoD contracts - but I will take a guess and say...
