2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

OEV makes a new “tall” version of the HB popup that is 2” taller inside. I have a Camp-X and never had an issue sitting up in bed. Does anyone know the exact height measurements of the Camp-X compared to an HB for the bed area?

**SOLD** - 2020 OEV Backcountry (Camp-X) Truck Camper in Denver, CO - $32k

@robertmspeakout This version of the Camp-X came with a built-in cabinet for the single black dometic fridge. You can also plug-in a separate fridge to one of the cig lighter plugs, which we have done occasionally when we wanted to bring more drinks/food. I didn't have time to capture...

**SOLD** - 2020 OEV Backcountry (Camp-X) Truck Camper in Denver, CO - $32k

The Overland Explorer Vehicle Backcountry / Camp-X is truly one of the best truck campers available. Built to withstand tough conditions, it's both durable and incredibly lightweight at just 1,210 lbs. This camper performs exceptionally well year-round, including in extreme winter temperatures...

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

This is very helpful! I tested the power on both sides of the fuse slot. Everything looks good. I replaced with new much longer wires wrapped in a loom so I can easily pull out the fridge if needed in the future along with the same 15 amp fuse. I think the problem was the female spade...

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

I've been having issues with my built-in Dometic CRX65 fridge in my Camp-X. The interior lights occasionally flicker and the compressor turns on/off like its losing power. I thought it was the fridge going bad, but looking underneath I noticed the white wire (negative) looked shorted. Pulling...

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

I can slide two snowboards down each side of the camper. Out of the way, easy to access, discrete, and locked using a Master Lock in the torklift . The torklift prevents the boards from sliding out the back too (they have never even shifted). I’d image you could do something similar for skis...

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

PSA - if you have a popup OEV make sure to check and tighten the nuts on the latches (even tho they are nylock), especially if you do any 4wheeling. One nut had fallen off and the rest were loose on my camp-x.

2021 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-HBE pop-up flatbed pickup camper (renamed the "Hudson Bay" for 2023 model year)

Hopefully Offgrid4x4 still does work on OEV campers even tho they don’t sell them anymore.

Anyone at Overland Expo get info on when the HW HBE might be released?

2021 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-HBE pop-up flatbed pickup camper (renamed the "Hudson Bay" for 2023 model year)

That’s great that people can DIY or have a custom interior build. I’m waiting on the 6.75/8 HW interior shots before deciding on which direction to go. I like some of the recent decisions to move the weigh forward. Merge those ideas with the interior of the High Country (lots of windows...
