Is that 6.85 flatbed shell with no kickout the same as the Alpine?

Here’s the link to the shelf. We had to modify it a little bit, but it fits great and gives more storage space.

We found a shelf on Amazon that gives us more storage above the toilet.

I'm curious why you would go with the HBW HW 8' vs 6.75'? Is it just for that little bit of extra storage where the kick out is? The few 8' HBW SWs I've seen also have 8"-12" of the flatbed sticking out at the back (not sure if they were on an 8' aluma tray or 9' tho). Seems like it makes...

East/west bed configuration has a shorter cab over and is lighter weight (no side cabinets or under bed storage). Wonder how much weight saving that gives you? Also it wasn’t clear if the grey water tank was for just the shower or also the sink.

Looks very nice, although the rear side windows should be twice as big to not feel claustrophobic (similar to Nimbl)

2900+ dry weight without any bells or whistles, so a 350/3500 might not have enough payload after gear, water, people, etc. Might need a 450/4500?

Agreed, if HW HBE doesn’t materialize, might have to look to TC + BEAR.

Looks like OEV got some marketing help. The Camp-X was renamed to "Back Country", the FX to "Alpine", etc. Now they just need a website make-over by a professional design company ;)

I’ve had a Camp-X for 2 years, in lots of rain, and zero leaks from the windows.
