Great little modification with some old tent poles to make the skottle a table top unit. Perfect height on a camp table for cooking. Just going to get some rubber tips for the bottom of the legs.

I've had 5 different LR's over 18-19 years; D1, P38, D2, D1 300TDi and LR3. Were they cheap to fix? Not normally but they were less than my wife's BMW and Mercedes she had over that time as well. None of them were really all that bad, except for the D2. I always bought them well out of warranty...

Had to look at something like this today after a 25 cm (10") dump of fresh snow last night with snow squalls and another 10cm on its way!

My 97 4.0 was one of my favorite vehicles. EAS held the air the bags perfectly, unlike my later LR3. Added valve stems to the valve block, unplugged the weak compressor, topped up the bags every couple of weks and enjoyed driving it for over 215,000 miles before it went to its next owner.
