    Eddie Bauer pants on sale

Seems every size and colour is currently in stock. I have four pairs of these, all I wear for work and play! I typically wait for the 50% off sales to buy most EB items unless it's something I really don't want to miss out on.

Canada's Backroad Mapbooks Expands into the US

Backroad Mapbooks have been the go to maps and adventure guides in Canada for over 25 years. They have released their first US digital product, Washington State. Lots of really good info. https://www.backroadmapbooks.com/blog/now-available-for-washington-state/...

From TN to Canada: Chasing Fall Colors (Pic Heavy)

Yeah, I had to explain to a couple one time that they should get out face the opposite way and try paddling again as they were trying to paddle the canoe backwards. :)

From TN to Canada: Chasing Fall Colors (Pic Heavy)

Nice trip report. We did the UP a few years back when we drove right around Superior. I recognized many of the Algonquin Park trail photos. I only live about 2 hours from the park and get up there a couple of times every year. I've likely hiked every trail at least 5 times, some even more, over...

    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

Well, what Toyota is doing is called reliability. :) I get in the 4Runner, turn the key and drive, no $6000 a year repair bills, no worrying about eas dropping to the bumpstops because of a corroded can-bus cable, no more Christmas in July on my dashboard, etc ... it's refreshing actually. The...

Studded vs non-studded Nokian LT2/3 - calling fellow northerners & Canadians

I was going to take a photo of the dog sled that is actually on my back porch, selling it as I no longer have my huskies, but drove home in a nasty storm last night in the dark and left again this morning in the dark. Not long now before the days start to get longer!

Studded vs non-studded Nokian LT2/3 - calling fellow northerners & Canadians

Let’s not forget the Sandon ghost town if you’re in that area. Love the Kootenays. My parents lived in Winlaw for a couple of years a while back. South side of town, white bungalow on east side of the highway. I heard stories of people driving that highway in the fog with one hand out the window...

    New Defender Rage/Hate Thread

Maybe Scott Brady can add a pissing contest to Overland Expo so those who want to can grab a beer and a chair and sit back and enjoy those wishing to go at it. Come on guys, two threads have already been locked down, this is just getting silly now. Oh, and by the way, I hate the new Defender...

    Wasn't the LR3 a 4.4 V8 Jag engine? The 6 cyl was a Ford engine.

What would you replace your LR3/4 with ?

I still have my D1 but I made the shift to a used 2014 4Runner this past spring for daily driving/travel trips. I had to drop almost $6K into the LR3 over the previous year (instrument cluster, rad, etc) and I still needed to do all the control arms and a couple other preventive maintenance...

    2020 Defender Spy Shots....

$20 and $30k over MSRP. Guess most will be mallcrawlers/fashion jewellery and not out on trails because hopefully real LR folks won’t be held ransom like this.

LR3 V. 4Runner Need To Buy One Now.

I sold my LR3 when it had over 360,000 kms on it. I drove a lot. It was very comfortable on the road and while I budgeted for the typical maintenance, it was the oddball stuff that ended up killing me, instrument cluster ($1800), EPB, etc so one year was almost $6K in repairs. Looking at what...
