    Zam15’s Tacoma Build

Just read through your build. Just thought I'd mention bottled water becomes toxic when left in a vehicle and its heated up.

is there a future for Windows tablets and phones

Tablets yes, phones I'm not sure. Someone mentioned security concerns but as an IT guy who supports Mac and Windows based PCs I can tell you the PCs with Mac OS have had a ton more security problems than the Windows ones. If you remember Microsoft played with the tablet thing long before...

    Pole of Cold expedition

if thats it there and theres a slope to get down to the river and the river is less than 2 feet deep, 2wd can do it. 4x4 would be nice to have but drivers skill would be fine based on that picture.

    Pole of Cold expedition

Based on those pictures I'd say any 2 wheel drive could do it too. 4x4 would be nice but doesnt look required.

Ran across this today on CL...

Thats a great deal in my neck of the woods. 2010 with 70 000km are still going for $29 000 bone stock up here. It actually works out cheaper to buy the truck brand new here. You only lose like 1000$ when you drive off the lot and its got no miles on it.

2012 Taco slow build - The Escape Pod.

Hey man I know you were wrestling with the mileage issue with your tent up top. I'm planning on doing a similar cage to yours for my RTT going on my ford Ranger. What I've found in my research is that if you drop those hoops just a little lower(4-6") it allows the wind to go over the tent saving...

Land Cruiser 100 to Jeep Rubicon Unlimited: Capability? Comfort?

Jeep is more capable, Land cruiser will be more reliable though. -Thats coming from a HUGE jeep fanboy. Always owned them and always will, but I do have a major hate on for all these wannabe jeeps they make now, JK included.

    Grand Wagoneer ?

I'd trust a Wagoneer more than a JKU for reliability any day. Sorry but Chrysler has proved this time and time again. the GW has more than enough room for 3 kids, I say rock that sucker. Spend 7k on the vehicle, 3k on preventative maintenance and call it a day. It'll be 100x more reliable than...

Morticon's '00 XJ Limited "SuperStock" Build

Love the XJ man. Definately make sure you get some tow points. Personally I dont see a point in the detours backbone but thats just me. I'd rather a strong rear bumper/tire carrier combo. I'd say do the rear main. Better to have it sealed up and not worry about it then have it weeping oil into...

unURBAN Adventures - Alaska to Argentina to AFRICA!

Italy they eat tons of Pasta but the way the Pasta is made is far different than the junk we have over here in North America. That's why despite their eating habits they stay slim to moderate.
