Really sucks not to be able to trust your truck, when it is essentially your home. Hopefully this will resolve the issue and the trip will continue without problems.
By the way, did you get a new camera? Your recent pictures seem much better than in the past.
My dogs always gain a few in the summer as they don't get the long walks due to the heat. Winter comes and the pounds drop off and they are much happier. The colder the better.
I'll bet moving all that stone was a real workout, especially with that bad hip. Hope it doesn't cause you too much pain and you can duck that replacement for a long time.
Just love your upbeat and positive attitude. Wish I could adopt some of your positivity for myself. Good on you, once again, for helping out another person in need of a hand. You've earned yourself a few more Karma points.
Over on the Ford Tremor forum they're talking about 7 months or more to get a truck and even having orders cancelled or come in missing items that were paid for. I got lucky and ordered mine a few months before this mess started and paid 6k under msrp and got the truck in about 4 months.
I ran a landscaping company for forty years and the amount of flats I got was staggering. My worst year, I got 17 flats on my truck and trailer, so yes, I always carry a spare.
I just did 1034 miles in my 21 Tremor 7.3. 517 with no camper 12.8. 517 with 1650 in bed 11.8. Very comfortable and never lacking for power. Like everything about it except for the fuel mileage and I was expecting that, so nothing to complain about.
Two weeks ago I drove 517 miles, unladen with weight, and tires aired to 65 and 80 and didn't find the ride punishing at all. The drive back with 1650 lbs. in the bed was smoother but I found the truck to be a great highway vehicle and did 1034 miles in a little over 16 hours with very little...
You have to quit beating those dogs, I've never seen them look so stressed. Good luck with the knee, seems I can't sneeze anymore without hurting something. Old age is not for the weak.
The place looks great and the dogs look happy. Summer is a pretty crappy time for the walking that you like to do what with the heat, chiggers, and ticks. Hopefully you can finally get healed up this summer and you and the dogs can start back up when the weather cools.
I'm picking up my Scout Kenai on the 16th and am looking for good insurance. Everyone wants to also insure my truck or upsell me. Who are you all using and are you happy with them?
Thanks, that's the information I was looking for. I live on a rutted dirt and rock road and plan to travel on them frequently so really didn't like the idea of the tailgate picking up rock chips or any other damage.
I'll be picking up my Scout Kenai in a couple of weeks. It will be going into F-250 crew cab, so 6'9''bed. The guy at the camper place said I need to run my tailgate for support but the Scout website says it's ok to remove. This is my first truck camper so am new to this. What do those with...
